Andrew L (ca) wrote: Its starts off well but after a while I just stopped caring. Its host of good actors and cinematic style make it from being totally pointless.
Kilo D (gb) wrote: "Even Dwarfs Started Small" is a funny, perplexing, and weird experience and this well-shot black and white movie is ninety minutes that are hard to shake, to forget.
Steve M (ru) wrote: Oy. It was a solid two stars, until the disaster happens. And by disaster I am not referring to the volcano. Over acting, bad dialogue, character stupidity, these things I could probably overlook. The dog . . . that throws this over the edge into oh my goodness, this is really bad, territory.
Anthony L (jp) wrote: RocknRolla is an enjoyable enough film but I think the reason it's so easy to watch is because you've seen it all before, it's like bumping into an old friend. There is absolutely nothing original or profound about it, which I find annoying, but the cast is likable, likable enough for you not to hate it. Easy/lazy viewing, a masterpiece compared to Revolver and if I'm being honest, I would like to see another film starring the 'Wild-bunch' but I doubt very much that it's going to happen!
Brian S (nl) wrote: The mother of all torture porn movies as well as a masterpiece and icon of modern horror cinema. This is actually my second time seeing this flick. Saw really is disturbing and suspensful, as well as a thrilling and smart story to it and some terrific acting for a modestly budgeted movie. I don't know how they even managed to get Danny Glover in this movie, but anyways, he's terrific. Gory and scary. Recommended !!
Michael F (au) wrote: Oh, I don't remember seeing a good military movie with tank on artillery action yet! But this being a friends' recommendation, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, there's a girl, that has a mind and luck of a child, and maybe 5 minutes with a tank. It's as if plot was written from Serenity, the makeup from Spaceballs, and the sex-appeal from Austen Powers. I was entertained sort of until I saw the funky job they did for the "Rippers". Then I laughed for once and deleted this one off my movie list.
Tim M (gb) wrote: A satisfying bit of Kiwi exploitation. Campion is an able director, making superb use of what little he has to work with. It's impressive what they do with a bare-bones cast and such an imaginative setup. Iron Sky will probably be better, but if you fancy Nazis and witchcraft, check this one out.
