No redeemable value whatsoever, this looks more like a bad student film (it could be forgiven for that) but is instead a cheap attempt by the studio to keep the rights to the franchise. Worst of all, we don't even get the great Doug Bradley playing Pinhead. While it's understandable that the role will have to be recast one day, Stephen Smith-Collin is not the actor for the role. Not even worth a viewing.

It's a formula comedy for sure but the formula works because the cast believes in the formula, making the film a lighthearted delight.

Cole W (gb) wrote: Though it doesn't have as much of the character depth that made the first so good, this is still a pretty solid second installment filled with exciting action, impressive visual effects, and has a more menacing villain than the first movie. A rare sequel that almost tops the first.
