Pandora and the Flying Dutchman

Albert Lewin's interpretation of the legend of the Flying Dutchman. In a little spanish seaport named Esperanza, during the 30s, appears Hendrick van der Zee, the mysterious captain of a yacht (he is the only one aboard). Pandora is a beautiful woman (who men kill and die for). She's never really fallen in love with any man, but she feels very attracted by Hendrick... We are soon taught that Hendrick is the Flying Dutchman, this sailor of the 17th century that has been cursed by God to wander over the seas until the Doomsday... unless a woman is ready to die for him...

A seductive woman falls in love with a mysterious ship's captain. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Sam R (au) wrote: This started as a good documentary... it seemed to be going into the relationship between hecklers and performers... but instead it descends into Jamie Kennedy's whining about the criticism he deserved for making an awful movie. A huge shame.

Mark L (kr) wrote: This is a great film. One of the few VHS hold-ons I use to justify keeping my VCR hooked up. It's funny and cute.

Chris C (de) wrote: Visually appealing and with a well-rounded narrative, Silverado is pure cinematic gold as one of the best westerns in film that benefits massively from the terrific performances which include Kevin Kline, Kevin Costner, Danny Glover, Brian Dennehy and Jeff Goldblum.

Allan C (nl) wrote: Not a classic, but a solid little thriller with a mentally unbalanced Robert Ryan terrorizing Ida Lupino. It's really Ryan's performance that elevates this familiar story above a typical B picture.

Chris B (au) wrote: A disappointing sequel. 28 Days Later is one of the best zombie movies ever. It gave us great characters that were actually smart. In this film our main characters all make completely irrational decisions. Their are still some good moments in this movie as well. I loved the take of them basically rebuilding Great Britain.
