Bradford M (nl) wrote: All the scenes were too long, the whole vibe of the movie was negative, it was like "Year of the Dog" with a weed wacker.

KL C (es) wrote: Fucked up. What's with the chicken? Don't they know that private rearing of poultry is not allowed due to the escalated threat of bird flu? Anyway, I gave up after 20mins into the movie. It's not a fair review but it's my review!

Steve S (it) wrote: I thought this movie was great... Acting was very good, story line was cool.Lots of eye candy - well worth a look...

Bill A (nl) wrote: This film takes parts from all over the world of story telling and myth and makes a wonderful movie! You have parts like an old greek myth, alittle like the bible ( the way the child is found), frankenstine, japanese myth, and a dash of action and comedy. This film is like an old story teller tale the would be told in the days of old. I wis that more films would capture the feel that this one has.

Rochelle H (ru) wrote: The subject matter had amazing potential, but instead chose to waste an amazing lead actor and wallow around in exaggerated arthouse.

Wade H (us) wrote: Quirky and comedic with a story not-so-contained on its short comings from its source material. Otherwise it's just a quick wacky generic buzz with balanced chemistry and a frenzy style. Though it cheats itself with most scenes it can't accomplished back when it was conceived, but it's forgivable and hard to recommend.

Ken T (mx) wrote: Let's put a top secret lab out in the middle of the Australian outback and then while we're at it mix a little alien DNA and splice some brain matter into a human. Can you say chaos waiting to happen because that is what happen. (Spoiler Alert) The alien human critter is the only thing that survived...This was a slow and painful "B" movie.

Patrick B (au) wrote: Wow. It took me more than 40 years to recognize what a great masterpiece this movie is.

Omer S (au) wrote: One of my favorite comedy films ever. This film, along with Germi's other gem ("Divorce, Italian Style"), takes a hilarious look into honor killings and Sicilian morality as a whole. No stone is left unturned.

James H (es) wrote: The ultimate melodramatic tearjerker from it's era (along with Imitation of Life) The controversial novel gets a bit of a tame treatment here, but with the outstanding production and a terrific cast, it still packs a dramatic punch. Always interesting, Lana Turner gives one of her best performances and Hope Lange shines in a supporting role.

Barney o (jp) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: Connery's air of class returns to make this film more interesting with character, plot and pretty good action sequencesWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: Hardly the most creative, exciting or refreshing Bonds. And arguably Connery was better in his first roundVERDICT: A forgettable but fairly good film with Sean Connery back to make Bond classy again.

David K (gb) wrote: Beautiful scenery and cinematography. Measured nuanced performances. Sad and yet not sad.
