Charles P (gb) wrote: Tribulation overcomes some clumsy writing with true emotional intensity.

Scott C (mx) wrote: Really poor sequel to 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. The third in the series was pretty original though.

Jon G (fr) wrote: I love when they make a movie simply because it has a clever title... oh the 80's and your wonderful films. It's great fun and a good laugh, check it out.

Kenneth L (kr) wrote: I had the good fortune to see this film at a screening at which Martin Sheen himself was present, along with the film's director Matt Clark. It was quite fascinating to hear the two of them reminisce so many years later on the making of this little gem of a movie, which has never yet found its way to DVD or digital services (but apparently will soon). It's a fairly modest yet touching little drama about a playwright (Sheen) who returns to his native Ireland after many years away to bury his recently deceased father, the titular "Da" (Barnard Hughes). Most of the film is taken up by either the main character's imagined conversations with his dead father, or flashbacks to their earlier lives together. The movie doesn't make any grand statements or big stylistic gestures, but it very convincingly portrays the complicated relationship between a father and a son with great sympathy for both. Barnard Hughes is absolutely terrific as "Da," even if his Irish accent can be a bit too thick for my understanding sometimes. It's a sweet, straightforward, honest movie that carefully avoids excess sentimentality but is affecting nonetheless. I recommend looking for it once it becomes available.

Robert R (br) wrote: Charming and with a lot to say, Sydney Pollack's "Tootsie" marks a high point in the careers of Dustin Hoffman, Jessica Lange, and everyone else involved.

Nigel K (de) wrote: Iff ever a man was born for one role then it was Arnie for Conan. Perfectly capturing the spirit of Robert E. Howard's creation, all other sword & sorcery films pale in comparison.

Will V (au) wrote: About the first 30 minutes of the movie is quite funny, esepcially a Vinnie Jones as a drunk English bowler. After that, it was horrible and boring.

Nico B (br) wrote: A Brony Tale is a well-handled, informative, and very entertaining journey through the My Little Pony fandom, led by the incredibly talented voice actress, Ashleigh Ball as she journeys through her very first Bronycon, it's quite a fascinating phenomenon and this film is certainly a wonderful depiction of it, whether you're a Brony or not, you may end up enjoying the film!

David D (nl) wrote: I enjoyed this movie. It was better than I expected. The animation looks realistic and sharp. The story, which is the meat of the film, is compelling and deeper than just a typical action/adventure movie.

Steve R (kr) wrote: This was bad even by my standards. Poor acting and poorer effects. The best bit was Marc Singer's inredibly ham acting. He hasn't improved since Beastmaster.

Lewis E (nl) wrote: Jim Carrey's committed performance well represents its real life subject matter and certainly brings added value to this romantic comedy. Unfortunately there is not much else to appreciate.

Luis P (gb) wrote: This is just one of the crappiest movies I have ever seen, probably the crappiest of them all. Whoever is rating this beyond 1 star is under the heavy influence of very illegal stuff. Do not waste your time with this "artistic" or "creative" or "new age" or whatever other term for "cinematographic art" you can find; it is a total waste of your time.
