Heidi K (it) wrote: Super tense. Super intense. Didn't know what was coming. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend to others.
Andrew L (kr) wrote: Crap movie, but why is Seagal third in the credits? He kicks the crap out of a whole team of terrorists armed with machine guns & dis-arms a city leveling bomb where as Sizemore just punches a broad. A complete waste of the three lead men's talents.

John T (mx) wrote: Pretty good. This is about a man and a woman who love each other, but their lives move in different directions as both want to advance their careers. I didn't love the ending, it just kinds of drops off with the hope that everything will work out, but I don't feel that anything was truly resolved.

Bill M (fr) wrote: Bizarre, one of a kind 80's movie that im having a hard time labelling or pegging down, though it has elements of all three, it's just too out there and weird to be simply called a slasher/thriller/horror, it's best described as an American Giallo. White Of The Eye is a seriously juicy cult item for 80's genre aficionados, i dont know how i've never even heard of it, and watching it on the always dependable Arrow Video's beautiful blu ray transfer (keeping the grain but making the colors pop) makes me wonder what other cinematic treasures there are out there hidden from sight, the movie takes the similar slasher movie, woman in peril, psycho thriller genres and has it always unfold in a completely unnatural way, giving us a fascinating, even somewhat complex marital conundrum that any conventional thriller would go down the simple get away/chase route, although these things occur in the plot, again though it all unfolds in such a off kilter way that it makes for an unpredictable, uncomfortable and riveting film experience. The death scenes are shot like an 80's art instillation and the cinematography and visual look of the film are amazing and stylish. It's not for everyone, but this is a real cult find, a great twist on the "is my husband a killer"? story, and it has a seriously mad climax which stunningly caps off a fairly demented, intense film experience in a big, how did we get here? kinda way. For twisted freaks, genre lovers, 80's cult enthusiasts and those who love their films with a heavy side order of freaky.
Bill B (ca) wrote: Happy to finally cross this one off the list for Movie Shame Monday. Great fight sequences and some truly bizarro practical effects make this one for the ages as a blind master hunts down and kills every eon armed man in the countryside in his efforts to take out the One Armed Boxer who killed two of his disciples. Wild stuff, definitely worth a rental at the very least.
Francis M (ca) wrote: Even those who do not like Walkabout, will still remember it, mainly scenes they didn't fully understand. Granted it is dated and editing and directing skills were hardly used by a master, but the story is the key, it is not literal, more up to you what you feel. Having watched this film for a second time, I am less a fan of the 'white mans human race'.

owen b (ca) wrote: this is one of those movies that feels physically impossible to hate. Michael Mann has an endlessly creative imagination and isn't afraid to show it. the soundtrack is amazing and every time it's used, it fits the scene perfectly. tom cruise plays a villain in collateral and when do you see him play a villain? painfully underrated movie, could not recommend it more.Owens grade: A+
Bart G (au) wrote: upon watching this decent film, I was asking my self why doesn't X make more movies>!?!?!?!
Wes S (ag) wrote: Mostly wasted potential, the franchise seemed to be out of good ideas and well-written emotion. The villain is lackluster, the death is pointless, and the effects are poorer. Nemesis does little to add much to the universe, tho it sure does try to change a few things.
