(jp) wrote: Slow and boring despite the graphic beginning. Another monster slasher. Some prehistoric monster is killing a bunch of people, it's some native American Alaskan tribal legend. He apparently just lived a little under the earth in Alaska. Homicidal for no reason as usual, well okay apparently he eats humans. And he definitely eats. The movie was boring enough, but the ending was so stupid where you ask yourself, why didn't they just save a half hour and do that in the first place considering they pretty much had just about every opportunity to do so...I'm just like smfh.

(de) wrote: Is a heartbreaking movie and has an awesome message of morality in it: 'Never ever hate any of those you love, because one day they will not be there for you and it will be to late to say your forgiveness to them and you will live with that guilty forever' - long but is the truth. Plot: Arthur is not the typical dad of the family, he lies a lot. Blake has trouble with his lies and he wishes everything changes, even his dad. Years later, something happens that will make Blake say: 'I wish I was there to say my sorries to you'. I won't spoil a thing but if your planning to see this film, and somehow in your family something similar happened, you may end crying or feeling sorry for yourself and those around you...it will make you think even without trying it. Stars for this amazing story-telling. Acting: The cast was awesome. They all nailed their roles. Matthew and Colin nailed Blake and even made the role look special and stunning. Juliet as Kim was marvelous, Jim Broadbent as Arthur was outstanding and inspiring. Claire as Gillian was incredible, same Elaine Cassidy as Sandra (she also did amazing on a past film I watched of her, Disco Pigs with Cillian Murphy). This women has an amazing talent. I love this cast and that's it. Stars for all of them! Music: The score was bloody brilliant, and it got me in tears. Stars for this amazing musicians and their amazing talent for music. To end this review, 4 stars of 5. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO! BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS! NEVER HATE, JUST LOVE AND ENJOY THE LIVING.

(au) wrote: After graduating college, Gandhi became an attorney and was working for a firm in South Africa where one day as he was riding a train, there was a white man who claimed that Gandhi was not allowed on the train because of his color. That event made Gandhi furious, which caused him to want to lead a non-violent protests for the rights of the colored people. The living in South Africa was not so pleasant, so he decided to take the matter in hand and joined the Natal Indian congress that was a political movement in South Africa. He was fighting the racial segregation using the non-violence protest. But segregation in South Africa wasn't the only conflict Gandhi had to deal with, Muslims and Hindus were also having problems in India, the British were taking rights from the Indians by oppressing them, and they were also making them pay unnecessary taxes. He then decided to move back to India and take care of the issue. Gandhi had to come up with a way to resolve the conflicts in India. With the help of Nehru and Jinnah, he came up with the idea to lead peaceful protests in India and also show photographs to the world so that other countries would be aware of the conflicts. Islam and Hinduism were also arguing over who had more power. They taught that the ideas to resolve the conflict between the major religious groups was to split India into two sections. Pakistan was divided from India for the Muslims and India was for the Hindus. Gandhi was still skeptical about the idea because he wanted for the two groups to be united but instead they were divided. He always opt for the peace in the country by uniting all religions but it was unsuccessful. A few moment after this event, Gandhi was killed.

(jp) wrote: Blackhat is about a group of hackers that try to destroy the infrastructure of country's economies. On one hand CH portrays a bad guy who starts out in person, next he plays the hero to stop other hackers from destroying the power plants. The storyline takes a back seat and becomes a carT and mouse game. Overall the movie was hard to follow but the action was very realistic. It's ok to watch once.

Director Val Guest creates some beautifully eerie, unsettling scenes, whilst Richard Wordsworth gives a performance as capable as Boris Karloff's in the 1931 version of Frankenstein. Brian Donlevy has recieved a lot of criticism for his performance
