Noshin H (fr) wrote: I just made this message and then we have a movie and I just let me know if we can get the new York on the new York NY and I

Godfrey Y (de) wrote: A delightful risk. (Completely glad I listened to my gut on renting this one) A thoroughly satiating action-comedy with terrific acts by Foxx and Tatum. Action and bravado movingly substantiates themes ennobling human virtues such as love for family members and integrity. Satisfying and appropriate character development. Thrilling screenplay and special effects.

Skyler B (fr) wrote: I didn't care for this film a much as I'd hoped. It seemed sparse on insight and lacking in proper characterization if its peripheral cast. It was pretty and well acted, but uninspiring.

DiaMond K (ca) wrote: already seen it loved it and i was very surprised withJanet lol

Paul B (de) wrote: A sometimes hilarious, often times fascinating look into the utter hypocrisy of the MPAA. Perhaps the most hysterical feat of this film was achieving an NC 17 rating.

Simon R (jp) wrote: A superb addition to the series and feels more adult orientated

Eliabeth E (jp) wrote: A dark odd film. I enjoyed it.

Brendon M (us) wrote: A heroine who makes increasingly poor and selfish life choices with little to no forethought for the people who deserve her love. A stupidly saccharine melodrama in which nothing and nobody really matter.

Trader Joes R (es) wrote: Hated it. TRALALA - The book makes it sound like she(TM)s dead; the film has her wake up. Harry hanging like Christ - Oh Christ! Mark Knopler's Soundtrack so overbearing and treacly, and so wrong.

Juan C (es) wrote: Ultimate. John Hood the rapper! Akin to Road House in so many ways. You can't go wrong when a film combines the hood, rapping zeal and dubious dance offs. The Man makes an appearance and Ice T is even on the cast. It is so joyous and full of zingers. "I've already got a record" our favourite Hood say when questioned of his musical prowess. These guys rap about anything. From a love of food to colours in general. It all ends up in a committee meeting where John makes his case in rap and even the Councillor cannot contain his love of song. The credits also finalise the notion that white people cannot rap in any way.A rap was organised after this was shown at the 24 Hour Movie Marathon. It added to the great event.

Daniel S (kr) wrote: One of the best 80s flicks.

Scott C (gb) wrote: More like Beach Farty. Cummings is the only redeeming quality. I did the surfing effects in my basement.

Joanne C (nl) wrote: Lizabeth Scott is a bad, bad, bad girl in this film. She lies. She connives. She schemes. She even kills all to get her paws on Dan Duryea's loot! I agree with the other reviewers, this isn't a great film, but it's great fun!

Brett H (us) wrote: Holy crap, what a ridiculous action movie that has great stunts but far too much John Woo-isms. The excessive slow-mo, random insertion of doves, and the never-ending shower of sparks are so over-the-top you cringe more than cheer. Still, it was always intended to be a big, dumb action movie and the plot is surprisingly cool, but come on, a little realism wouldn't hurt.
