Petros T (de) wrote: Compared to "The Raid: Redemption", "The Raid 2" is a longer, more complex affair. That does detract a little bit from its potency but it's still quite fascinating. Gareth Evans proves his directorial mastery once more: the fight scenes are exquisite and, in addition to that, we also get a truly phenomenal car chase this time around. The number of awe-inspiring, fist-pumping moments is still high and the more ambitious premise is welcome albeit not as surprisingly magical as the first one's.

Jorge R (jp) wrote: The animation reminds me a lot of something like Tomb Raider and other game prologues, but tied to a nice story it works very well.

Sophia Q (es) wrote: The concept was good and the movie had potential, but ultimately, the way the plot was carried out didn't engross the viewer. It was a nice, pleasant watch....but more of a "timepass" movie than something I'd recommend. Shahid Kapoor was good. Genelia looked adorable. They looked very nice together. The only two songs worth watching (or listening to) were "Pe Pe Pe Pein" and "Pal Mein Hi." Overall, I'm a little disappointed that the director of one of my favorite movies (Ishq Vishk) dished out such a weak film.

Private U (kr) wrote: I absolutely love this documentary. It tells the story of several religious sects within Iran. The film is wonderful and the stories are amazing. Watch this film, especially if you're interested in grasping a better understanding of some Iranian subcultures.

Bra at de har med spass mye av poesien hans for underbygge, og arkivmaterialet er fantastisk. "As the spirit wanes the form appears,"sier han. Dette er jeg 100% enig i, men filmen som konstruksjon er kanskje noe preget av nettop det.

Jos (it) wrote: The spiel about this movie invites comparison to Lost in Translation, but the resemblance between goes no further than two Westerners working in Japan. And where Coppola's film paints a glossy, if eccentric, portrait of the country, this one airsprays a more cynical stencil about mistrust and culture clash in the workplace. So, not a very optimistic film. Nevertheless, an interesting, if fictional, portrait of Japan through the eyes of a youthful Belgian.

Fawn S (au) wrote: One of my top five favorite films. Prime example of what every sketch comedy group is striving for.

Leighton T (us) wrote: A strange, odd comedic tragedy that seems very much in the vein of screwball romantic comedies that made up the 30's and 40's. Its absurd touches and wonderfully straight-line performances make the film into something quite special, surreal, and different from almost any genre you try to put it in. The way the story takes shape, from a sort of kidnapping, into something more, about truth and lies and the way our lives take shape, makes for an incredibly intriguing story in terms of small themes mixed with what our characters do next as they react to each escalating situation. I found it to be almost perfect until the ending which felt slightly overdramatic (maybe that's the point) and sort of flattened out what had been so intriguing as the movie moved along. Still, the way the story goes from being one thing to another to another is fantastic and keeps the viewer guess, intrigued and even caring for the characters in almost baffling ways.

Paul S (it) wrote: good movie not the best sequel but if you know nothing about the first did a good job of explaining the past

Scott L (au) wrote: The main characters lack a lot depth which leads to very little sympathy when the battles take their their toll. Obviously there was little funding available, yet with slightly better writing, and some better back stories (any, please...) this movie could have knocked it with the best robo-thrillers.
