Chris H (br) wrote: Yet another overrated film. Simple, basic plot with simple, basic characters with a simple, basic ending.

Leo S (nl) wrote: Nich Cheung and Liu performed well. Director Dante is still good at making an exciting movie.

Bianca W (us) wrote: Beautiful but tragic story. I love animals and bawled my eyes when Rosie gets abused. Great cast, even though it's only three main actors.

Doctor S (au) wrote: The slightest of plots doesn't have nearly enough good comedy nor good music to overcome. Silly slapstick and dumb drug humor undermine Ed Begley's funny evil capitalist and his two flunkies attempting to take over a famous rock venue, the Saturn Theater. The songs are all OK but I found myself wishing I was watching a real concert video with better bands instead. Still, there's plenty of energy on display here. Two more worthwhile points of interest: Malcolm McDowell as Mick Jaggerish super egotistical singer Reggie Wanker, and especially Lou Reed parodying himself as introspective leather-n-shades rock legend Auden. Where else you gonna see that?

Michael F (kr) wrote: A delightful Christmas caper showcasing the best of Dick Van Dyke and Barbara Feldon. This is my favorite holiday movie and I wish they would release it on DVD.

Ole J (de) wrote: This is a treat if you like a good low budget, but giving all it got B-movie :)I enjoyed it very much, even though the story is not all that, the humor, the characters, the quirky love thing and the big monsters and fights, it is all fun and games and makes it very enjoyable and entertaining.I don't think all will like it, you have to be into this b-movie genre, low budget effects, really 80th thing. It is kind of a very old arcade game, loved it :)

Matthew T (jp) wrote: Great , cast and endearing story.

King L (ca) wrote: Whimsical movie about a famous concierge of a European hotel in the early 1930s who is framed for murder. He is eventually proven innocent and inherits great wealth. Part is played excellently by Ralph Fiennes. I highly recommend this.

Brandon S (us) wrote: I couldn't believe how well shot this movie was. The last thing I expected to love about a Universal Soldier movie is the cinematography. Its just a shame that the movie itself plays like a brainless, hyper-violent affair with too much nasty violence and not enough genuine action or character development.

Russell H (ru) wrote: really slow paced but the acting was great. Not much action, mostly drama
