Holly K M S (kr) wrote: This is a deeply moving film that explores a variety of themes. Those themes include, but are not limited to, love, deception and the fragility of people that feel isolated from the worlds they wished they were a part of.

Kimberly F (it) wrote: I really hope people can give this movie a chance, THEN rate it. it has been out for 2 years and seems to have not received any acknowledgement. This film is funny, heartfelt, clean, heartbreaking, relatable, strong, great messages....I mean, I never really watched any Bollywood movies because I never heard of one that was interesting enough, but this movie blew me away. It has WAY more substance than A LOT of mainstream romantic comedies that are the same boring comedians, recycled over and over. This was fresh, young, romantic and great for any audience. I really really enjoyed it and I think it is my new favorite romantic comedy. I had kind of given up hope on this genre, since I haven't really seen anything worth seeing in YEARS. I am 31 by the way if that helps. I would say watch it, give it a chance. It is a great movie about growing up, finding independence, moving away from your childish dreams and expectations, living your life for the wrong reasons, then finding yourself and being able to hold onto what mattered the whole time. I enjoyed it, I think you will as well!

Andrew J (ag) wrote: Putting 2-bit actress Sherilyn Fenn in a movie with 2-bit actor Richard Tyson is about as productive as multiplying zeroes. "Two Moon Junction" is a soft-porn boudoir thriller with the look of a perfume ad and a spaghetti-strap-thin wisp of a plot. There's no characterisation, little acting, lots of flesh, and some simulated sex. More like Two Moon Junk.

Adrian B (de) wrote: Al Pacino is certainly amongst my top-3 favourite actors ever, and this films impressively adds to the emotional performances that he has been capable of in previous works, such as 'The Godfather Part II' and 'Serpico'.The film may be have a bit of a slow tempo in the first half, but after the half-way point, the film kicks into full gear as we approach the climax that is the trial. 8/10.

Dorianator F (ca) wrote: Very good historical movie. Very good representation of the war. Good acting. Great filmmaking. But it just couldn't keep my attention.

Knox M (ru) wrote: Kubrick's theatrical debut, Fear and Desire is a more essential Kubrick film than its predecessors and its successor, not to mention that it's well shot, edited, and directed. You'd have a pretty good drinking game pointing out similarities to Apocalypse Now...

John R (es) wrote: 141217: Not a historically correct version of the Ok Corral but a very good film nonetheless. Some great acting and fun; simply because the story is different.

Rick Q (gb) wrote: preston sturges' "hail the conquering hero" is a hilarious farce, that never takes it's ridiculous plot seriously. it may not be as brilliant or funny as "the palm beach story", but this is a well made film that all fans of classic cinema should watch.

Christian G (it) wrote: Having never seen Jean Harlow in a movie, i really didn't know what to expect. Well she far exceeded any expectations I had of her. The film is a charming love story set with WW1 as the backdrop. A very early role for Cary Grant and it was fun to see him play the not so faithful husband/war hero. A couple of OH NO moments and a satisfying ending.

Michael L (de) wrote: Hang on! Legs.. Arms.. Sheets... She's resting on the nape of his arse.. Now Gere is standing with his arse out by the window crapping on about his heroic 3 hour journey to make a woman come. Dude rules. Style over substance but none the worse for it - the SL, the suits, the pool, the hotel. Not Schrader's best script but like in Scarface the 80s bling is hilariously compelling and in an age before Viagra, you have to say Julian is a champion.
