Jm S (ru) wrote: a very inspirational film.. every teacher must see this. its a story of a teacher who always see the potential to his students. He's an ordinary teacher with a great passion in his profession. He reminds me on how a approach students which happens to be misinterpreted by others. I wont forget his 5 rules in class.. A very basic rule that most of us took for granted. He is an inspiration to everyone who has a great passion in educating children. He strenghtens my belief about the great power a teacher can posses to change the world for good.

Adam S (br) wrote: This film, if it weren't for the charm of the Aussie cast, would feel a lot more mediocre than it ends up being.Glenn Robbins, Mick Molloy, Bob Franklin, Wayne Hope and Gary Eck star as BoyTown, the greatest boy band in the world. Or, they were. With supporting roles from Sally Phillips, Lachy Hulme and Tony Martin, and cameos from Josh Lawson, Ed Kavalee, Akmal Saleh, Rick Mathieson and Robyn Butler, BoyTown's cast shows a lot of Australia's local talent that doesn't go overseas (although Lawson is trying). And what results is a satisfactory parody of boy bands and the music industry in general. The ending was, to me, slightly unneccesary and taints the rest of the film, but it does highlight the parody again.

Diana T (ru) wrote: Slow moving plot. Beautiful countryside, castles, and clothes. Actors are ones you see all the time in Perot and those English misteries. Judy Dence seems to act in everything. Gerard Butler plays the brother of Mr. Brown. This was a scandelous affair of Queen Victoria with her personal servant. Brown, who was troubled by alcohol binges, died of pneumonia in the end.

Kevin R (gb) wrote: He was fixing to cut you down.An aging former sheriff has a significant guilt streak for a string of events in his former town that led to the death of his wife. He is now tracking down the men responsible and is on his way to find them when he comes across some settlers heading the same direction. He agrees to ride with them to keep them safe. As they discover more and more of his story, they try to talk him into being at peace with himself first. Will they convince the sheriff he's a good man either way, whether he gets revenge or not?"Sure is a wild country. I like wild things."Budd Boetticher, director of The Tall T, Ride Lonesome, Comanche Station, A Time for Dying, Decision at Sundown, The Killer is Loose, and City Beneath the Sea, delivers Seven Men from Now. The storyline for this picture is interesting and has a classic western feel to it. The acting is very good and the cast includes Randolph Scott, Gail Russell, Lee Marvin, and Don Barry."They ever catch up to the fellas that done it?"I came across this a long time ago via Fios recommendations and decided to give it a viewing finally. This is a classic western with interesting characters and well portrayed character development. I really enjoyed how this was put together. I recommend this to fans of the western genre."I'd feel a whole lot better if you rode along with us."Grade: B-/B
