Michael B (es) wrote: "I'm not indestructible. I'm not invincible. I'm wobbly, imperfect, broken paw, heart in tatters ..." Simply a beautiful movie. This film has made me a fan of Zabou Breitman.

nefnie l (nl) wrote: Good movie based on the true story of the Scottsboro nine trials. How racism affected the trial in the deep south, especially since all the jurors were white, southern men. Good solid performances from all the actors, however I wasn't really fond of Hutton's protrayal. He came off a little strange to me, but that may be how is character was supposed to be. His NY accent seemed to come and go at times. Overall interesting, well done movie.

Joel A (es) wrote: I had always assumed this film was a lesser of talking animal pictures but from re-visiting it I was surprised by its depth & how sad it is today how little substance is in kids films. The story of a stuttering girl & her parrot who learns to talk & naturally find himself in quite a bit of trouble. The story centers on his journey back to find her but it's the stories along the way especially the blind artist that are quite touching & profound. It's a lovely film that was enjoyable to re-watch.

Leslie M (de) wrote: One of my alltime favorite films =) Judy Davis was fantastic as George Sand & Julian Sands was his usual delectable self as Franz Listz... It's a flick i watch every Easter =)

Alexander P (ru) wrote: Decent sci-fi / horror with some chills. Must have had a good effect in the time and still resonates today. Some preposterous acting but a good film nonetheless.

Kyle B (it) wrote: Hurt and Julia give great performances. After a while it got boring just being with these two characters in a jail cell but the performances keep you into it.
