Grant H (kr) wrote: Good movie. While it's not the most original in plot, the cinematography and visual effects are actually great for this low-budget indie, it's funny, and the performances are good, especially Zahn and Dinklage.

Wendy N (fr) wrote: I loved the opening of this film, it's full of life and interesting perspectives on love and relationships. The film somehow moved me, though I couldn't empathize with parts of the story and it's main characters decisions. I think I'd understand it more in 15 years or so.

Irish E (ag) wrote: In Old Chicago was good for a minimum of a one time viewing. For the most part, it was ok. The last 20 minutes or so was really tense and dramatic.Tyrone Power played crooked gambler, businessman, thief, and all around bad guy, Dion O'Leary. I have no idea what Alice Faye, as Belle Fawcett, ever saw in him.Don Ameche was the good son and lawyer, Jack O'Leary.Andy Devine stood out in a small but important role as Pickle Bixby. It was a pretty good drama about the family that owned the legendary cow that started the great Chicago fire.

Sharice H (jp) wrote: This movie is hilarious, and completely "coming-of-age". The structure is rather unique, it keeps going after the traditional "end", and gives a realistic portrait of what probably would happen to couples in romantic comedies after "the end" of the movie. I loved it, but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the editing was awkward at some points. I would watch this again though.
