Charles R (au) wrote: 'Low budget gay comedy' is usually a phrase which has me running for the hills, however considering it's 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes I decided to give Gayby a go. A charming, relaxed comedy about a gay guy and his fag hag planning a baby together, Gayby is filled with great one liners and remarkably, gay characters who actually feel like they may have a foot in the real world. A very pleasant surprise.
Guy L (de) wrote: I love the first three Halloweentown movies so I was very disappointed in this. The first mistake was recasting the role of Marnie and the second is that there's very little Aggie. This didn't have the same feel like the previous three. The worse of the series.
Ash M (nl) wrote: The critics are full of SHIT! This movie is awesome. And knowing it's based on a true story makes it even more authentic. Must see film.

Suddenly she needs to find her father Bradley Tozer (Wilford Brimley) before he is officially declared dead and she risk losing her inheritance to his scheming partner Bentik (Robert Morley). She hires the hard-drinking WWI ace-pilot Patrick O'Malley (Tom Selleck) and his planes to locate her father. However, Eve, also an accomplished pilot, is determined to accompany him in his other aircraft, which causes the first of many arguments on their way to China...It is said that Tom Selleck was given this movie to make up for the missed opportunity of doing Indiana Jones in "Raiders Of The Lost Ark". Hard to compare them though I must say. "High Road To China" is however an adventure movie in the same style and sense as "Raiders.." and it works pretty ok. Always been a fan of Tom Selleck and he does a good job as OMalley and that goes for my old "Lace" crush Bess Armstrong as well. The dynamcis between Selleck and the beautiful Armstrong is of course vital to the story and the sparks do fly. It s maybe a bit dated in the setup and how it has been shot, but that didnt disturb me. Thus, "High Road To China" is one for a lazy sunday afternoon with a big bowl of popcorn.

Adam E (fr) wrote: A great title like "Lady in a Cage" can only introduce a great film (or a really shitty one lol). And so it does! Olivia de Havilland stars as the titular lady who indeed gets stuck in a cage or, rather, a ridiculously slow cage-like elevator. A very strange, unique, Hitchcockian film with great performances all around, especially by James Caan who excels as the heartless leader of the group of hoodlums who invade De Havilland's house. Undeniably the best film about a lady in a cage to date.
James H (it) wrote: 2.5/10. I wasn't expecting Spartacus and sure didn't get it. Badly dubbed, horrendously acted, a really stupid story, cheaply produced, laughably bad dialogue. the score however is occasionally good.
