Rangan R (mx) wrote: An unusual western road trip drama.A novel based film starred and directed by the 70 years old Tommy Lee Jones. An unusual realistic western drama with a fantastic cast. It sets around the time 1850 and the story of three mentally ill wives who were transported to a safe facility by a man and a woman who hired him in exchange of saving his life. During this both way road trip, what they go through is what finely told.Tommy Lee Jones and Hilary Swank were excellent in their parts. She was the best, you would definitely feel her role's eagerness to get a normal life with a husband and children. Which is very important for the personal and the social life of that time. And at this old age, Tommy Lee did a great job in all the fields he had undertaken for this project. His vision was the most appreciable.Felt like I saw a wonderful western film after a long time. But some of the events were needed a good explanation like one of the deaths in the film. Since it was a tale of the cowboy culture era, few things were understandable, but not everyone going to get those parts. So the details were missing yet not a bad film. The characters were not introduced in a usual way, it only goes forward by developing the story and by the end you would feel you know them enough. And at the final act, there was a couple of guest appearances and steals the show. It is not your regular western, totally worth a watch and that's my suggestion.7/10

Mike M (mx) wrote: It was good at first and then just got dull, boring and drawn out. Honestly, honestly, honestly, any movie critic would get cruicified if they rated this movie poorly. So guess what? They all said they loved it! And they probably did. I'm not a film critic (as of 10 seconds before this review) so I'll tell you straight, it's boring.

Kathleen W (ag) wrote: The novelty of the way this story was told was good and interesting, but the story wasn't actually that good. Felt contrived towards the end.

Simon H (gb) wrote: ALF is one of the most over-rated comedy characters ever! All he does is eat pizza, play poker, hit on women, crack jokes and sell knock off goods at affordable prices. My point - ALF is shit!

Jebus C (mx) wrote: Barrel-scraping genre low point. Even bad by Dan Ackroyd's standards. The cop-buddy movie with improbable partners is absolutely hopeless. Complete with Gene Hackman wondering what the hell he signed up for, Ackroyd doing Roadrunner impressions, Dom DeLuise doing nothing and Nancy Travis managing the worst Israeli accent in the history of film.

Emma B (mx) wrote: It's not a classic for nothing. Sheer genius and a must-see. The kind of film where you literally can't even take your eyes off the screen. I'm not watching the remake on principle.

Arslan K (it) wrote: Hands down the basic blue print for majority of modern kung fu movies and also action fight scenes. You dot watch this because of the bad acting you watch this to see bruce lee do what he does best, prove why he is one of the greatest fighters ever lived.

Anatoly S (nl) wrote: A film about the effect the Son of Sam had on an Italian community in New York City. Great performances, very Spike Lee. Maybe not one of Lee's best works, but still worth the time. CHECK IT OUT
