Mike and Lenny are two buddies who dream of getting out of the trailer park. Out of desperation they resort to burglary as a means of financing Mike's college education. Their dream is jeopardized one summer day when their ploy to shoplift Near Beer begins a crime spree and a series of mishaps during which they are threatened with jail.

(it) wrote: Very sweet, endearing film. Would have rated it higher, had there not been so much language - esp in the first half of the film. It's understandable that her upbringing & a living a life on the streets are rough, we didn't need it emphasized by filling every other sentence with corruption.

(ru) wrote: Beautiful cinematography that does justice to God's creation and a man whose life so loyally served God. However, that is if one ignores the distracting (over flowery) music score that sort of makes a mockery of the era and life they are trying to respect and represent accurately.
(ag) wrote: absurd...yes. The idea is that of a fantasy of power. The movie has the big problem of being just boring, the expression of all powerfulness is done in an over simplified way, because the movie is so simplistic it becomes just to boring to finish...boring as hell.
