Porco Rosso torrent reviews

D M (de) wrote: The hero from the first film is in Florida when a new attack of lavalantulas occurs. He gathers a team to fight them across the Sunshine State. This time they have to defeat the biggest lavantula of them all - the Gargantulantula which is the size of the Dolphins stadium. Nearly as good as the first entry w/ a lot of funny lines.

TheRookieWriter M (jp) wrote: It's so bad that the movie is aware of it. I only watched to see if I can laugh by how bad and dumb it was. The only time I laugh was at the end the dad and Freddy reunited. There was a huge fanbase waiting outside for them. You see a sign that literally says "when the FUCK will this movie ever END?". I only laughed because I was thinking the exact same thing.

Ashley C (kr) wrote: What, exactly, about Juliette Binoche's character makes men mad for her? I don't want to spoil the ending, but she is just ordinary, like any other woman. TRAGEDY.

kevin d (fr) wrote: The Kingdom of the Spiders was a movie to see in the 1970's. Comparing it to newer scary movies, you think to yourself, who would find this scary? Even today, this movie made you wonder how they got spiders to act. In this movie I didn't see any real message. I saw more of pioneering monster movies. Alongside Jaws and King Kong, the 1970's brought out some of the most known movies that involve killer animals. Kingdom of the Spiders was not one of them. I felt the storyline was very confusing in the beginning. It started to get better near the beginning of the second half. I don't know what the time period was in the movie, but it didn't seem that much different from the 1970's. The sets and costumes seemed realistic and made sense. One character I could not stand was the girl who was so afraid of spiders. She would cry when one spider got on her. She was one of the reasons why I didn't like the movie as much. I felt the lighting and camera angles stayed the same during the whole movie. Maybe I have too high of standards for a movie from the 1970's, but I feel like these newer movies outshine it. Newer movies don't always beat out classics, but in this case, Horton Hears a Who > The Kingdom of the Spiders. Horton Hears a Who at least makes sense. I'm talking to the people in Kingdom of the Spiders have a breakdown when a spider is on them.

Bill T (es) wrote: Fun interpretation of Dracula for the black people, Blacula doesnt really follow the Dracula story at all, it's just a black guy with fangs running rampant in the city. Dated and very homophobic (They use the word "Fag" a lot), it might turn some people off, but it's got that slow motion shot of a female vampire running towards the camera, which always scares the kiboodle out of me.

peter h (us) wrote: didn`t seem a sequal at all, no mention of the first one, and seemd to lack the tension as well

John D (es) wrote: This is one of those films that, the more I watched it, the more I like it. Aside from some of its cheesiest dialogue and over the top performances. I did dig the story a lot. It has a very dark tone element into it with this very dark fantasy. The story is about the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the Round Table, a Merlin legend which tells the life story of King Arthur and his Excalibur. And two of my favorite stars are here, the young Liam Neeson as Gawain and Helen Mirren as Morgana. I never thought Archeptolemus from the film Troy (2004) is the King Arthur (Nigel Terry) I thought he was fantastic in this film. And Cherie Lunghi as Guenevere, I thought she is one hot Queen. John Boorman, known as a narrative director in terms of film making. I like how he turned this one into a very dark but beautifully filmed movie. I can still remember the beautiful film locations, the beautiful forests, the huge castle and its lakes, the swampy areas, and the visually stunning landscapes. It has a great production value over all. Those swords and those elegant armors. Another fantastic epic that we will never forget. 4/5
