Kenny N (kr) wrote: When they let Bean be Bean, it's entertaining, because Rowan Atkinson is one of those performers that can't NOT be funny, no matter what he's doing. He's always good for a laugh, even if the film isn't so great. Not the ideal vehicle for showcasing his talents, but it has enough funny moments to overcome the weaknesses.

brendan n (fr) wrote: kuffs was quite a disappointment, slater had presence but the film seemed to be missing something. the story wasn't very good with a very predictable plot that never explored anything new. the film isn't terrible its just a shame the film didn't use slater to push the plot into something original, at least have him something decent to say when speaking to the camera
Paul J (gb) wrote: A strange and compelling collaboration between Wenders and the dying Ray. Ray was such a highly unique and idiosyncratic filmmaker. His movies never seemed cliche. Wenders affection for him is undeniable.
Jeff B (gb) wrote: This was a lot better than I thought it would be. Oscar winning foreign film starring Gerard Depardieu as a husband who cares so much for his wife's happiness that he will do anything for her (she is pretty hot), including picking a random guy at a restaurant to have sex with her if it will please her. As the film goes on the "other man" sort of becomes a second husband and the three of them go to a summer camp where the 2nd husband works. A dark comedy with some great moments, and I was surprised the way the story went, it sort of turned into a very odd love story. I really enjoyed this film.
Kurtis E (mx) wrote: Watching this film, i attempted to turn off my fan mode and switch on my film viewing mode in an attempt to see how the film performed. This film is the start of Goldie Hawn's career wind down in which many films of hers after this were both commerical and critical bombs. The Out of Towner's has some humorous moments, but fails to deliver anything that's original and that the audience hasn't already been exposed to.

Dan N (kr) wrote: Either this is one of the most intelligent, or one of the stupidest films ever. I'm not sure yet, so I'll go the negative way and say this film is dumb and totally uninteresting. What I am sure about, however, is that the acting in this film sucks big time...
