D M (ag) wrote: Once again following the Scary Movie formula, Marlon Wayans has another encounter with a haunted house. The Mexican neighbour was especially hilarious in every scene. Jaime Pressly, looking like she hasn't aged since "My Name is Earl", also stars. The humour is what I expected, mostly raunchy and racial which gave me several lols.

Lanky Man P (gb) wrote: A Japanese version of Nightmare on Elm Street... sort of. More disturbing.

Leonardo Malacay S (gb) wrote: Nada novedoso ni la historia ni los personajes , es tan trillado que no cumple su cometido

Gavin P (fr) wrote: Decent thriller/drama, with Samuel L Jackson falling for his capturer. Interesting story.

Bruno V (es) wrote: In this genre a good movie , some laughs , some bit childish but the acting of Colin and mmm-looking Kelly Preston make up for that ! Emotional Ending ! SOMDVD

Brandon W (ca) wrote: Right off the bat, this film dragged me in. Just how epic it was. An epic battle right off the bat in a time period that was unique and with a production look that was stellar. Unfortunatley, this film couldn't keep up with how good that first little bit was. It's still good, don't get me wrong but I could definitely feel the film slowing down and tredding water. Because this is a long movie and you can feel it's length. Last little compaint, Leo's and Cameron Diaz's Irish Accents seem to go in and out throughout the entire movie. Now for the good. Like I said before, the look and feel of this movie is amazing. Daniel Day-Lewis is a god on screen. Geniunely terrifying. Lastly, the violence felt like it was straight out of a Tarantino film. Overall, this is a really good movie. Not Scorcese's best but a film worthy of checking out.

Kevin M W (ag) wrote: Screwball comedy. The words alone, so often said with admiration and esteem, the item itself so little seen, its akin to invoking "Shangri-La", and yet here is the real deal, unexpected particularly for the casting of its chief stars. Somehow I don't think of them when I consider that ethereal quality known as talent. Yet it's here, witty dialogue delivered with verve. Commentary on not just the culture of the uber-rich lifestyle that is Beverly Hills, but also on our national obsession with money in particular, that fat baby: greed ("if I don't get more right now of whatever it is I want I'm gonna cry very loudly!"). Very good work.

John B (kr) wrote: Pretty run of the mill crap. I think Beatty was going for a big message and instead he just embarrasses himself. The whole Beatty-Halle Berry romance seems contrived and a bit gross. Bulworth whimpers while he thinks he is roaring.

Kevin P (ca) wrote: 2.5 stars for nostalgia factor. This movie was a lot cooler when I was 9. Cheesy acting.

Shawn W (br) wrote: Wretched sequel where the plot is almost a carbon copy of the original. Script likely written for Michael J Fox as many of his friends and even his dad from the original appear. He wisely took a pass on this one.

Ben G (nl) wrote: Nice little flick, nothing amazing, but does its job: entertaining and gets the message through (kill the Japs)

Karen A (jp) wrote: I liked the book very much and this movie was better than I expected. :)

Shawn W (jp) wrote: A bit twisted. An awkward teen accidentally kills a girl and is hidden in a secret room by his mom. When his mom suddenly dies, he stays in the room and spies on the new family that moves in and raids their refrigerator.

Brendan B (br) wrote: Cool flick that plays with thriller conventions by managing to stretch out a nauseatingly one-note premise into a taut, suspenseful film. The music is all great and the characters are all intriguing. The ending throws you a little too much, but it does put the preceding events into an interestingly nihilistic light. Very effective.

Davey M (br) wrote: Jerry Lewis is funnier and weirder and more amazing and more exhausting and more visually fantastic than ever. I'm not sure what this movie is, but it's pretty great.

Christopher B (br) wrote: Not the worst adventure movie - Charlie's Angels' flicks got that honor.
