Ross M (jp) wrote: Argento's "Giallo" isn't scraping the bottom of the director's film barrel ( Argento's Dracula takes that honor), but it's pretty close. The acting is mediocre at best, the cinematography is bland, and the film is just straight up boring. What saves the film from being a complete dud is Argento's trademark gore making a true return for the first time in a long time. Overall Giallo is a mess of a film that's best left for Argento completionists.

Richard D (us) wrote: I don't quite like this as much as "Koyaanisqatsi", which is not really a knock on this film so much as high praise for the first one. This film is beautifully shot with another superb score from Philip Glass. The only thing it really lacks is the dazzling motion effects of "Koyaanisqatsi", which when combined with Glass's score for that film are simply dazzling. This film is merely wonderful in contrast.

Edgar C (au) wrote: Good boxing film with great performances. The script was weak, but the plot srong. It was starting to become a genius film, but left me incomplete. Of course the ending was well made and directed, but turned out to be unappropriate. 59/100
