Dylan C (us) wrote: This film is beautiful from beginning to end. It's layered with sap to the brim, and very non-traditional for Wertmller, but still a brilliant film.
Mara B (jp) wrote: Formulaic but inspirational movie with Streep in an outstanding role. Even her violin "faking" was not bad -- I've seen much worse. Like Mr. Holland's Opus and other movies of this ilk, the students sound way better than they would in real life. A definite departure for Wes Craven that showed he can do more than slasher movies.

SUGARFALL S (br) wrote: IF THERES SOMETHING WORSE THAN HORRIBLE remakes I can't think of it off-hand. Despite the sexy girls, there's little or no appeal to this embarrassing POS. The original was chock full of charm, mystery, intrigue and character. These idiots didn't even ATTEMPT to create any of that in this disaster.
Matt A (us) wrote: This could've been really good as a prequel to The Conjuring, but this feels like a weak imitation of a much superior horror film. In fact many of the horror films you've seen in previous years have been a lot more scarier then this. Where Annabelle fails is its reliance on cheap jump scares, which do not make a film scary. Disappointing.

Tor M (de) wrote: Last chapter of the three earlier Mad Max films. Great first part here - possibly my favorite sequence from the entire series so far. I don't like the desert part as much and I lose interest after a while. As a total the film is not that much worse than the other ones. It's alright and the ending is lifting it a bit again. I think that Tina Turner succeed but the part could have been done by a dozen other ladies. The music and the mood almost make it a family film at times, I do not like that. It's more Hollywoodish than the other early films, but the forth film is probably even topping that. I will find out soon enough.5.5 out of 10 piggies.
