Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.

The movie centers on five sisters in 19th century England who must cope with the pressures to marry, swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield to protect themselves from a growing population of zombies. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Jeremy R (ca) wrote: A kaiju film aimed more at little kids. Reminded me a lot of old Power Rangers, but still amusing.

Jake (fr) wrote: This was a pretty disappointing movie for me. It really just mimics and taps into the popularity of films like "A Room With A View", "The Importance of Being Eanrest", "Enchanted April" or even "The Painted Veil". Its mildly amusing, and pretty well acted, but that is about it. It always kind of surprises me to see Helena Bonham Carter is these type of roles. I realize they are what made her famous, but she is so much better as Marla in Fight Club, or as the Corpse Bride or the muderous Mrs. Lovett. As much as I would like too, I really cannot even say its worth watching; because its not.

Al S (fr) wrote: It's brilliant, riveting, fast-paced and original. An relentlessly entertaining action-packed thriller. A smart and intriguing thrill-ride that's entertainment in fine form. A sexy, stylish, dangerous and excellent piece of work. Director, Luc Besson's triumph. One wickedly cool adrenaline-rush from start to finish. It has the action, suspense, emotion and character development that a fine film of it's kind should. A real classic. The performances are fantastic. Anne Parillaud is a revelation. Jean-Hugues is terrific Tcheky Karyo is excellent. Jean Reno plays a cool and slick character. It's magnetic and wickedly entertaining.

Emily the F (es) wrote: While I didn't like the changed ending, and some parts were left out, it's still a wonderful satire. BUT THIS IS NOT A KID AND FAMILY MOVIE!

Jennifer R (us) wrote: I'm always disappointed each time I see this movie. It's just "okay" on it's own as a movie, but what always makes me so mad is that the creators completely destroyed what the movie was supposed to be. They claim it's based off the books but anybody who has actually read the book can tell you otherwise. Some of the basics to the story are there but they completely ruined too many details. Do yourselves a favor and read the book first instead and see how amazing the real story actually is, then you can be disappointed with the movie if you like afterwards.

Michal J (de) wrote: It's pure delight watching William Sadler play the ultimate tough guy who turns from a decent fireman into a man overcome by greed who won't back down and will do anything to get the hidden loot (a great aspiring character actor, by the way). Bill Paxton natural and convincing as usual. Ice-T and Ice Cube perfectly cast as unforgiving gangbangers. An action movie the way it should be done.
