Prince in Hell

The story is set soon after the reunification of West and East Germany, and is about the disintegrating relationship between Jockel a political activist and Stefan a heroin junkie, and their involvement with a bisexual Micha. A 2nd plot line is concerned with Micha's young son Sascha, and his life in a rundown world of drugs and poverty. His fascination with the creepy, exhibitionist puppeteer Firlefanz, whose grotesque puppets enact a gay fairy tale paralleling the relationship of Stefan and Jockel. Central to the disintegration of these characters is the drug dealer Ingolf, who 'pulls their strings' with heroin, instead of puppet wires.

dan l (it) wrote: sharon stone brings her 80's acting to play in a 2012 movie and it shows. some lame one liners and a ridiculous romantic story keep you entertained only because this is far from drama, but a bit of a comedy.

Jesus H (es) wrote: This is one of the few movies I think are under-rated. Wilson did a good job. It is a feel good movie and teaches to do what we are passionate about, not what is expected from us.

Isael J (es) wrote: Crank is ridiculous because the movie makes no sense, it's about a guy poisoned and needs adrenaline to stay alive, it sounds dumb, but it really is entertaining and awesome. You are never bored watching this movie, there is plenty of comedy and is just overall really fun.

Ramak M (br) wrote: 2 of my favorites for all time cast here.KASS makes you follow her every where she go.

John E (br) wrote: This movie is exactly what you think it will be like, only way better, and a lot worse. Everything is entertaining, from the cardboard sets to the silent movie over- acting, the frosted hair and especially the costumes. Ohhh, the costumes. If you like Amazons (and who doesn't), gladiators, Amazons fighting gladiators, strippers acting and some lovely, lovely dialogue, you will enjoy this movie. Minus one star for being chintzy with the soft-core sex.

Keenan S (au) wrote: Suddenly, Last Summer is a superb and terrifying film, that unfortunately seems to be a bit underrated. This film has a great plot with many twists and turns, and also has a wonderful cast, especially with the ever-so-great Katharine Hepburn playing the menacing Violet Venable, who I think is one of the most frightening characters ever portrayed in a film. Elizabeth Taylor is also spectacular in her role as a mental patient with stories no one will believe. The climax of the film is harrowing and very intense, and one of the memorable climaxes I've seen in awhile. This film is scary as hell, superbly acted, brilliantly written, and also insightful with its thoughts about the cruelties of life. See it now if you get the chance to.
