Prom Night

This slasher movie follows a relentless killer who is out to avenge the death of a young girl who died after being bullied and teased by four of her classmates. Now high-school students, the guilt-ridden kids have kept their involvement a secret, but when they start being murdered, one by one, it's clear that someone knows the truth. Also coping with the past are members of the dead girl's family, most notably her prom-queen sister, Kim Hammond (Jamie Lee Curtis).

For six long years, Hamilton High School seniors Kelly Lynch, Jude Cunningham, Wendy Richards and Nick McBride have been hiding the truth of what happened to ten-year-old Robin Hammond the day her broken body was discovered near an abandoned convent. The foursome kept secret of how they taunted Robin - backed her into a corner until, frightened, she stood on a window ledge... and fell to her death. Though an accident, the then-twelve-year-olds feared they would be held responsible and vowed never to tell. But someone else was there that day... watching, and now, that someone is ready to exact murderous revenge on prom night. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Emily K (gb) wrote: This is a great movie!!!!!!!! I highly recommend!! My husband and I watched this together and enjoyed the whole movie!!!!!!

Prapat K (fr) wrote: the director's name "andrew lau" can quarantee the movie SUCK (since the storm riders) with the bad mv style edited and kindergarten screenplay !!!

Araldia S (it) wrote: Wasn't as bad as the online reviews say, although it was a bit confusing as to whether the film was an amalgamation of the second and third films, or if the battle of two worlds will be released as Arthur 3. It is important to have viewed the original film, and the loss of Bowie and Madonna as voice talents were noted.

Duncan C (ca) wrote: I never would have thought I'd be saying this about one of Jafar Panahi's politically charged films but 'Offside' left me feeling warm and fuzzy.

Alex S (gb) wrote: A poor attempt to make a tribute to the classic drama. Catherine Deneuve was definitely missing in the title role, but she most likely had her reasons to decline her participation. It is good that Oliveira was able to convince Michel Piccoli to reprise the role of Henri Husson. But if I were him, I would hot have made this film without Catherine Deneuve reprising her role of Severine. The title was chosen smartly - Belle Toujours (A Beauty Forever) as a tribute to Belle De Jour (A Beauty for a Day). Too bad that the director could not move further than that. Nice views of Paris and good music, though.

Leigh R (fr) wrote: So funny. You have to remember that it's supposed to be fluff, of sorts, and then you can really enjoy it. I thought it was hilarious and would watch it again.

Jared A (ca) wrote: While School Ties offers plausible depictions of closeted anti-semitism at it's most revealing, it also fails in complex story-telling where more angles are evaluated and more character interactions are supplemented.

Grayson W (de) wrote: A supernatural movie by Mario Bava. The plot feels a bit thrown together but the atmosphere is great.

Mike C (es) wrote: Hmmm..where to start? The first part of the film sort of plays put like a film about Murphy's Law. It's all very poignant and when the climax comes (which I might add is exceptionally set up) it's incredibly emotionally involving. Beyond the narrative, even, the themes are so rich and many. Yeah, you guys should totally see this movie.

Heather R (mx) wrote: Mediocre sci-fi, with a plot line mildly reminiscent of The Matrix. As a whole, not a great movie, although the last twenty minutes of the movie are fairly entertaining. I'd recommend watching it for Bruce Campbell's cameo.
