After that, the franchise has gone downhill and have generally just been a quick cash in. Thankfully, Scooby Doo! : Camp Scare brought back some originality and that feeling of the good old days. This film may be a little scary for the younger ones, but the mystery is at its best! This Scooby does not disappoint, (B-) Recommended.

Natalie P (it) wrote: I must say I only rented this movie because I had a free movie coupon. I do enjoy a good low budget horror movie but this one could not measure up to the others. The whole storyline didnt make much sence. A girl seeing ghost in her apartment cant leave because of fear of the outside. This movie does it best to shock the audience but after seeing the lame makeup and special effects you cant help but laugh.

House M (kr) wrote: Underrated flick. Though it's from 1998, it is painted fresh. Vincent Gallo signed his masterpiece with saturated colors to portray an America that lost it's sparkle from the 50-60's golden age. Where people are lost and are not able to find meaning and define priorities in life. Amazing work. A must see if you like cinema.

Chrisanne S (it) wrote: One of the better "canteen" movies. Great characters, fantastic actors and actresses, and good music. Just a bit too long.

Scott W (ag) wrote: The music saves this from being a dud. As it is, the plot is overly dramatic in parts. And the long dream sequence doesn't even come close to the level of the ones in Singin' in the Rain and An American in Paris. Shirley Jones looks so young here pre-Music Man. I liked the scenes at the dance, and of course the title song. But it's not one of the better musicals of the era.
