Matt M (gb) wrote: Any fan of the original TV series or anyone expecting a good espionage thriller will be disappointed; the film lacks ideas and becomes an awkward runaway movie that has none of the charisma of the Bond movies or the original version, as Simon Templar uses his chameleon disguising techniques to get the formula for cold fusion out of an Oxford graduate, with predictable complications, laughable characters and a screenplay that waters everywhere.

Frank P (ag) wrote: I love the concept I love the ideas, what let me down was the quality of the acting and character development, Richard Dean Anderson plays Colonel Jack O'Neil much better than Kurt Russell and Michael Shanks a much better Daniel Jackson than James Spader other than I love it and watch it over and over. I don't care if it was a precurser for Independence day I loved the whole Stargate Franchise and took 15 years of pleasure just watching the TV Shows. Without this film there would be no TV Shows.

Jet Lei and Xie Miao have an undeniable chemistry even if the plot is totally hackneyed and stolen from just about every other kung fu lovie ever. The action borders on the rediculous and I do love the upside down onefinger pushups of Xie Miao or "MANTING" which is my madden handle. That kid is baddass, where is he now?

Arnold Schwarzenegger must have a good sense of humour to be able to be in a spoof of his OWN GENRE!Arnold Schwarzenegger (as he does invariably does) gives a good performance as Jack Slater. Not amazing, but he gets the job done to a high standard. This film brings the laughs, the action and everything else required for a fun action spoof. And for these reasons, I give this film a 9/10 or 4.5 stars

Brett B (br) wrote: Nowhere near as good a film as ...MEET FRANKENSTEIN, this is still a decent monsters-meets-screwball-comedy flick, with Karloff delivering a legitimate performance amongst the insanity, some good makeup effects, and plenty of fun pratfalls and verbal gags courtesy of the two titular leads.
Lauri Ailane (ca) wrote: This film was delightfully entertaining. A really cute comedy. It doesn't make my faves. list, but it is still a fun Shirley Temple film to watch.
Brett W (it) wrote: Fun, rousing thriller from the pen of John Carpenter. I loved watching this thru the 80s goggles, back when Tommy Lee Jones had hair, and Robert Vaughn always played the villain. Sweet!
Silvestre S (it) wrote: Final Destination has a outstanding plot but it all goes away with actors that didn't make their performances believable and didn't cause any thrills for the audience the more times you watch the movie the more boring it gets.
Jacob F (it) wrote: In some ways it worked, but by god it wasn't dobe well. It was loyal to the first four movies than the last for sequels, also shaming them somewhat. They'd better make that fucking remake
John M (fr) wrote: The 2006 film Idiocracy is more relevant today than ever before. Our journey down the path of self destruction is a result of deregulation and the dismantling of checks and balances in out society. Crony Capitalism (greed) and the dumbing down of America makes the film Idiocracy all to real. Just take a look at some of the presidential candidates that we have to choose from, it's almost surreal. Tabloid Journalism, the sense of entitlement, social media, the need to constantly be stimulated, etc. are all helping to create a society of helpless individuals who let others do their thinking for them. The whole concept of taxing one's brain (making sacrifices) as a way in which to achieve personal growth, build character and maintain emotional stability are now a thing of the past. Our own stupidity and mental laziness will ultimately be our demise as we watch modern civilization crumble. Gladiator Games are just around the corner and it's only a matter of time before the next major extinction level event. We're watching the devolution of mankind as we slowly regress into a planet of the apes.
