Greg S (br) wrote: In a snowbound French town, a crime novelist investigates the death of a local celebrity who beleived hereself to be the reincarntaion of Marilyn Monroe. Nods to "Twin Peaks" and a soundtrack full of icy renditions of 60s hits add ot the appeal of this cool, stylish and strange mystery.

Dylan A (gb) wrote: The solid casting in this film makes it slightly above average. Bruce Dern and Sam Shepard are top notch veteran actors, Jason Patric is highly underrated as an actor, he carries this picture, and Drea de Matteo is solid as well. They all give capable performances. The dog is effective too. The title of this movie is horrible. Yes it is Patric's character but it's awful. A combination of Walker Texas Ranger and Major Payne. Just an atrocious title for a movie. Definitely a straight to DVD/straight to cable release. Nothing theatrical at all about this movie. The casting saves it. Mike Vick will love what Patric has to do to get his daughters back. I think I will send him a copy in prison.

Wes S (us) wrote: Outside of a few gruesome moments, Bone Daddy doesn't stand out too far. General crime drama with generic characters and little effort at creating twists or shocks. The story just isn't interesting enough to hold the movie together.

Michael P (it) wrote: Really good movie and very sad also, worth watching.

Johnson C (gb) wrote: Just seeing the poster, guess it is an old style stuff. But youre wrong, it's quite a crazy funny movie. With Alex Man who haven't been on screen for long time, his acting is top. And how favourite his "so what"? you guess.

Bob V (au) wrote: Taking quite a leap with the Biblical story of King Solomon & the Queen of Sheba, it's all fun enough, with Lollobrigida's heavy accent and sensuous purring, and Yul Brynner still with hair on his head. The pagan orgy scene looks rather tame now, but was terribly licentious for its time, and because if the ominously primal & sexual musical score during the scene, it still oozes naughtiness and works very effectively. It's not "The Ten Commandments", but a lot of people will probably prefer this fluffier 'Bible story'.
