Brian G (us) wrote: I can't believe this got such high ratings here on RT, who is usually very accurate for me. This movie has a lot of nothing happening in it. And then it tries some twist ending which makes absolutely no sense at all. Basically some young girl goes crazy in a secluded house. Test it though and tell me I'm wrong.

Fel S (ca) wrote: I just watched this fine piece of entertainment and I must say that it's one of the best films that I have seen in a very long time. The premise is truly original. It features some great performances by veteran actors and even C. Thomas Howell! The special effects were truly mind-blowing and unique. It's so refreshing to see a movie without the use of CGI these days. I can't praise this film enough. Do yourself a favor and go see it. Earlier in the day I was contemplating suicide, but when I flipped to the Sci-Fi channel and started watching Glass Trap I remembered how great life really is. Glass Trap saved my life, it could save yours too. As I sit here remembering the wonderful storyline and clever dialogue, I wish to go back in time and rewatch this gem of a movie over and over again until I die a terrible death involving 5 pieces of factory machinery and a jar of apple butter.

Todd L (de) wrote: I'm not sure what the biggest problem with this movie is...usually comedic director Ivan Reitman trying to be more dramatic, or usually more dramatic actors Robert Redford and Debra Winger trying to be more comedic. Either way the movie doesn't work. Redford and Winger, fine actors that they are, just don't have the comic sensibilities suited for a Reitman film...and Reitman is at his strongest with high-concept comedic material like "Ghostbusters," "Stripes," or "Twins."
Rose A (de) wrote: this is my first time i view this film with young actor treat williams performed as detective danny ciello who into a drug reveal a pervasive corruption on the forse, based on the true- story in 1971 & the well done director sidney lumet as his work with serpico, "dog day afternoon", net work verdict & other ect. based on the book by robert daley. so i'm just saying about sort of like serpico ( Al Pacino & the same director or as prince of the city) to me so little disappoint in the middle of the film and some well done treat Williams Performed.

Andy C (ag) wrote: Stands up for women, doesn't want them to be treated poorly. Of course, being the 1920s, this is because women are weak, and easily tricked, and faint a lot. OK, to be fair it's still a relatively progressive picture (she at least finds the balls to call out the man-whore).
