Guido S (fr) wrote: Kate Beckinsale...I mean Rhona Mitra stars in this post-apocalyptic movie in about 30 years after an initial virus outbreak which caused Scotland to be walled off. She is sent in to find the medical researcher who was working on a cure. Along the way she meets up with both a Mad Max style world and one that is from the middle ages. It felt really weird to go from far future, to Mad Max, to the middle ages. It just didn't mesh well at all. Doesn't help that the story isn't that interesting or anything you have seen before. Nothing really stood out that was enjoyable except for the long car chase at the end which was pretty neat. Outside of that, this movie just had no idea what to do with what it was trying to do.

Jessica S (de) wrote: Angelina Jolie took a strong female lead in the search to find a long-time serial killer. Despite a few slow moments, this movie held my interest the entire time. It kept me on the edge of my seat with a few screaming moments here and there. The ending was my favorite part and was highly unexpected.I might add that it's been a while since I have seen this, hence my lack of wordiness. Sorry :(

Simone S (mx) wrote: Don't believe the haters!! This movie is real horror at its best! Who cares if its effects aren't 100% brand-new CGI, it gets the point across! You want to fear the puppets, but you want to love them sometimes too. The acting is good, the plot is good, it's good! Worth it totally. Don't call yourself a horror fan if you haven't seen this!

Peter N (fr) wrote: The most redeeming aspect of this little known Thai film is the fact that it inspired Tony Jaa, who has become one of the most exciting martial arts stars in recent history. The production values are what one would expect from a Thai B movie, and having only seen this movie in Thai, I'm not sure what American audiences would be able to take away from it (or how well it has been translated for that matter). This film is probably only worth checking out if you are a fan of Tony Jaa's martial arts style or the metamorphosis of Thai cinema.

Benjamin S (ru) wrote: Excellent comedy! Carole Lombard and John Barrymore are exceptional, Barrymore should have taken the Oscar with his role! Wonderful screwball comedy!

Ms Southern L (it) wrote: Whoopi was good in the movie. I liked how the only thing that brought them together was the dead.
