(fr) wrote: The movie was excellent as it tells you about the chaar sahibzaade and I feel sad when the two younger ones (Guru Gobind Singh Ji. two younger sons) were bricked alive. I felt sad also when the youngest said one said brother I was born after you but die before you.

(ca) wrote: Absolutely loved it. A personal must-own. One of the absolute best possession films because of how it is stylized. There are only a handful like this and like a similar film where a charlatan priest goes around scamming folks into thinking that people need an exorcism when they don't, he soon also had a rude awakening by the end of the film. The film was basically a documentary just like this one. Or mockumentary in this case. I don't know if that's an actual appropriate name for the genre. The first half was skepticism, the second half was fighting the evil. Very entertaining, and done better than the Paranormal Activity series.
(nl) wrote: I have no words to criticize this one! It's like watching multiple films at a time! Movie keeps changing every fifteen minutes! Chemistry between Akshay & John is sweet. Sanjay Dutt's cameo is kickass! Everything else is below average.Final Verdict: Avoid this one.

(es) wrote: A wacky, heartfelt and hilarious comedy. A great film. Filled with great laughs, compelling characters, smart lines and lots of music from great bands. The actors have sharp and compelling chemistry. Paul Gross crafts a wonderfully crafted and well-written movie gem. Giving his best and most liketable performance and character since his Tv show Due South. Leslie Nielson is brilliant. men with brooms is a comic dazzeler.
(mx) wrote: Man, where to start? Let's see...this guy eats Jason's heart and then he has to find some other person where this weird snake/alien type creature must enter their body. Huh??? Why?This is definitely the worse movie of the series, no competition! It doesn't even feel like a Friday the 13th movie. Also, it wasn't scary AT ALL! I'm not sure what they were going for with this one...clueless. Anyway, I rate this one 3/10 OR 1.5/5 Feel free to skip this one!

(de) wrote: A hint at what could have been for John Candy. This feels the most SCTV-like of his films (a lot of future SCTVites appeared on David Steinberg's 70s TV vehicle), and it's not just down to the presence of Candy, Flaherty and Levy. The film feels like a series of skits strung together with a flimsy Manchurian Candidate parody and satire of Moonies. As such it's very variable in quality, the best bits being the parts furthest from the plot (Kung Fu U, Ernie Hudson's character and the Father Knows Best parody). Also Candy's John Bourgignon comes from "Melonville" the home of SCTV, and plays closer to Candy's grasping weasel Johnny La Rue than the characters he'd make his name playing. The highlights make up for some obvious flaws (weird pacing and Joe Flaherty being wasted playing the straight man most the film), but it's by no means essential for anyone other than Candy and SCTV fans.
(gb) wrote: Creepy, atmospheric ghost movie. Very well done Italian horror film that is one of Bava's best. The titular ghost is straight up goose bump inducting. The history of why is adequate and it ends on a nightmarish dreamlike sequence. Only downside is the pacing is a little languid. A real slow burner that picks up real nice at the half way mark. Worth watching with the lights off and a cool breeze blowing against your window. Just be prepared to see Melissa in your dreams.

(ag) wrote: Way better than I was expecting. Really liked the cast and the story is properly bleak and dangerous in places. Genuinely gripping and watchable.
(mx) wrote: It's not as great as I remember, but there were a couple of moments when I laughed really hard!
(de) wrote: A good movie to watch with tweens and teens. Female lead is weak, not sure what the lead sees in her but he played his part well. Parents of under achieving male teenagers can relate to main character.
(ag) wrote: Pathetic acting, terrible cliches and absent of all creativity, The Roommate is a disgrace to the horror genre.
(kr) wrote: I thought it was a good movie. They probably could have done a little more with the background story as I was intrigued and wanted to understand more of what was going on in Chile at the time (I am not quite a history buff). I feel like you have to have no heart not to think it is a worthwhile film though. Emma and Daniel might not have actually been living it, but other people did. This shit actually happened. Let that sink in for a moment.
