Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer

Rainbow Brite, and her magical horse Starlite, must stop an evil princess and her underlings from taking over the planet Spectra. When they meet Orin, the wise Sprite tries to make the two children get along and work together to stop the evil Princess. Orin tells them that they can only destroy her by combining their own powers against her. Getting in the way of their mission is the sinister Murky Dismal and his bumbling assistant Lurky who, as usual, are lavishing in the new gloom created by the darkening of Spectra, as well as trying to steal Rainbow's magical color belt.

Nigel F (de) wrote: Fantastic performances by Paresh and Irfan make this movie a must-watch. The story, showcased through the life of some of its ordinary citizens, is about how the city of Mumbai reels and deals with the terrorist attack on its llifeline - the railway.

Johnny G (ag) wrote: The best thrilling action & love story movie by sylvester stallone.

Lisa M (us) wrote: the making of film on the dvd is better than the film. another one that needed a good editor. the pieces were all there but not compiled very well. the performances by mos def, scott glenn, and brendan fraser were all really great.

Dwight F (mx) wrote: Dealer is on target when it comes to the actors and their expressing of talent, quite good however the story while not far off from what can happen shows suomeone in over their head and most likely with the lack of skills he shows while doing business is depressing. While having a suspect girlfriend around he repeatedly hides drugs and money not learning from experience this is a terrible idea, a weak plot device and unrealistic. The taking of life may be real these days, the news reflects this even though I've seen far less violence during years of my dealing, lost money is only compounded with more trouble dishing out beatings much less killing. A smart dealer does not "front" what he cannot afford to lose...

Steve W (gb) wrote: I've never seen a John Waters film before, but this black hearted satirical dark comedy was hilarious. Waters takes a jab at the suburbs, celebrities, selling out, the court system, and so much more in this razor sharp pseudo horror comedy. Kathleen Turner is great as the vicious psycho who kills anyone who doesn't live up to her ideals, with some hilarious one liners. "Look sharp dad, Its Hammerjack". This movie had me in stitches, definitely not for everyone but interesting indeed.

Andr D (jp) wrote: Tambin conocida como "Nico", esta es una pelcula policiaca mediocre que introdujo al mundo a Steven Seagal (para bien o para mal) y con una Sharon Stone que pasa desapercibida.

Lee M (nl) wrote: Jack Lemmon's Kotch is an insightful and uplifting look into human nature. Lemmon's film touches the feelings deeply and truly. It is a skillful blend of comedy and drama that never wavers or strikes a false note. Kotch also contains a performance by Walter Matthau that is nothing short of a revelation.

Tihana D (br) wrote: For all intents and purposes, this is a well made movie. It does just what it's supposed to do - it stirs up all kinds of emotions and shocks to the core. For example, I had a bloody difficult time watching the thing to the end without taking a few `breathers` from all the heaviness intertwined in every pore of the movie. This is a sickening, extremely unpleasant, gray piece of cinematography designed to leave you in sweating horror from the thought that the monster(s) are quite real, among us and tend to drench the piece of Earth they inhabit in black, horrific veil of terror. This is by far the worst movie I've seen so far and I've read all the warnings about its gruesomeness beforehand and decided they don't apply to me. `What could be THAT bad? No way it could shock me! I watch horror movies like nobody's business!`. The fact is - probably everyone ever to watch this difficult movie about an Australian serial killer John Bunting will have a massively difficult time sinking their teeth into this grayness. There is no sunshine coming afterwards, there is no catharsis, no superheroes...there are no better times ahead for its protagonists. There is nothing, not a hint of something, not a hint of light. Just a massive swell of nothingness, heaviness nesting right there on your chest long after you've watched it. And when the years have passed, the only thing I will remember is that blackness I felt afterwards. I won't remember it's tormented characters, demonic John Bunting, psychological tortures people/kids endured, animal cruelty, paedophilia, grey Australian small town poverty, alcohol....
