Mary T (kr) wrote: A great film. Everyone needs to see this one. I'll be buying copies and sharing. Knowledge is power. We are losing our health and our freedom in this country due to our corporate special interests from Big Pharma to Big Agra and it's all exposed here.

Jace L (nl) wrote: While not top-notch "Somm" is a solid documentary, and it's well paced enough to keep anyone vaguely interested in wine to want to keep watching. I genuinely cared about the fate of the people it followed.

Nelson S (kr) wrote: Buena Pelcula, lastima que el mensaje que predica no sea siempre cierto

Yolanda M (au) wrote: Not as riveting as I thought it would be. Very slow paced and the ending didn't give the plot justice.

Michael S (ca) wrote: Wants to be sassy while indicting the terrible state of VA hospitals. Comes off as preachy and pandering.

Vadim D (fr) wrote: While Cruise gives a great performance, the films feels very dated, and not just because of the subject matter, but the common stereotypes that were created post the war.

Michael S (br) wrote: One of those hokey disaster films from the 70s with an all-star cast. In this one a big earthquake levels Los Angeles, leaving cardboard and styrofoam debris everywhere.

Scout L (au) wrote: The actors were funny and I laughed quite a bit but ultimately a boring story.

Ryan V (it) wrote: Humphrey Bogart plays a disgraced Army artilleryman who winds up entwined in a plot by a ruthless entrepreneur (Sydney Greenstreet) to sabotage the Panama Canal on behalf of Imperial Japan; the script initially cited Pearl Harbor as the target, but the real-life attack to that area motivated Warner Brothers to quickly alter the movie's plot. Across The Pacific is disappointing by the standards of a Humphrey Bogart vehicle directed by John Huston, but it's still an above-average example of wartime propaganda thanks to its star's machismo, a charismatic turn from Mary Astor as the token love interest, some entertaining character acting from Greenstreet, and Japanese villains who avoid the pitfalls of jingoistic stereotype about as much as one could hope from a Hollywood film shot in 1942. This picture isn't quite as indispensable as its pedigree would imply, but it's still worth seeking out if one is already fond of its principle players.

Jason E (ag) wrote: This movie if you can even call it that has to be one of the worst movies Iv ever seen terrible in every department nothing works at all

Alex R (br) wrote: I have given this movie a few viewings but just don't get it. Some of the acting is horrendous, like reading from prompt cards. The story is slow and pretty boring at times. There is a couple of hilarious moments but not enough to save it.
