Russell S (us) wrote: I simply can't give this movie anything less than 5 stars. Finally Paul Greengrass puts his kinetic style of handheld camera work to perfect use. Whereas his constantly moving, shakey cam technique has tended to grate on me alot in the Bourne movies, there's a real maturity and thoughtful use of it here. The movie is gripping from start to finish, the acting is always sincere and believable from the whole cast and there's not a single moment in the movie where your mind is allowed to wander off to think about anything else. Once the action moves to the lifeboat things do get quite claustrophobic after while but nevertheless the tension never lets up despite the length of the film. Just wow.

Logan M (de) wrote: I honestly have no idea how I sat through the whole thing.

Tyler M (fr) wrote: Completely pointless and painful.

Alexander C (ca) wrote: Standard film, mediocre, nothing further, worth one watch or two.

Brynn H (gb) wrote: not bad. Alsou and Billie Piper! Popstars of my childhood...

Alan A (us) wrote: a very good movie to have great fun and lauther with friends and family

Chad B (ag) wrote: This was okay. I give it good marks because of Spacey's performance. I won't own it nor would I watch it again.

Scott R (ru) wrote: well acted with quite a few twists along the way. Leaves you thinking for a while after watching.

Jeff M (ag) wrote: Not at the top of the pile for Clint but it has its moments and Bernadette Peters is always fun to watch.

Tom H (ag) wrote: Great movie. I was surprised how similar this film was to "First Blood". Even key scenes like jumping from a mountain to a tree is in this, and this was the year before First blood. There is of course more deliberate killings in this film, but being that it is Charles Bronson who does the deeds, it just stands to reason. He is a killer, and a great one at that. I read the back story to this supposedly "true story", and the only thing i can say is that it is extremely loosely based on facts.

Remy B (ag) wrote: Maybe K. Douglas wasn't the best for this movie ?

Ashley P (fr) wrote: For the time it was made, not long after Bataan had actually happened, the story is suiting--aiming to raise patriotic war morale. I find the film touching.

Justin B (ca) wrote: Had I not known that this was a Renny Harlin film I would have bet money that this was Uwe Boll's handywork, albeit with a higher budget than normal. One of the most expensive cheap looking films I think I've ever seen. There's some fun but stylistically dated action towards the end but it's not worth sitting through the drab and lifeless dreck that precedes it.

Al H (de) wrote: No creepy, just funny.

Farah R (de) wrote: There's a gripping murder mystery and the movie should have focused on that instead of the jumbled nonsense of the character's personal affairs. There are details and events that bring up plenty of questions as to who the killer was and how the murder happened but by the end, there are no real answers and it's very frustrating.

Marty A (us) wrote: I think Demi was the only one who didn't realize this was a comedy.
