In the near-future, Charlie Kenton is a washed-up fighter who retired from the ring when robots took over the sport. After Charlie's robot is trashed, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max to rebuild and train an unlikely contender.

Unlike the first which could be enjoyed by both Kids and adults.
(jp) wrote: Ennio Morricone's scores are usually spot on, but his work in this film just served as a distraction, almost as much as the cheesy John Cusack/Laura Dern love story. Loved the look on Oppenheimer's (Schultz's) face as the nutcracker suite plays over the loudspeaker and he bears witness to what he has done. A mix of joy, horror and madness. Pitch perfect.
