Donnie B (gb) wrote: Simple and oldschool in a good way

Levi S (ru) wrote: Good combo of creepy and "jump-out-of-your-seat" scary.

Graciela C (ag) wrote: This was a deeply affecting movie, in spite of a somewhat maudlin concept. Done in less masterly hands than Susanne Biers' it could easily have been a melodramatic farce, a soap opera for the big screen. But between her direction, an excellent cast and dialogue that you couldn't guess at every turn, it packs a gut punch. I cried more than once. Lassgard's is a tour de force performance of scenery-chewing size but he doesn't make a mockery of it. Mikkelsen is restrained, as always, perfectly suited to the role. A touching surprise is Stine Fischer Christensen as the daughter. Although the ending disappointed by tying it all up a little too perfectly, the rest of the movie overwhelms it.

Daniel S (es) wrote: A strange film. Amazing performance by Pete Greene. And the most ARGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! fingernail scene ever.

Mark L (mx) wrote: Truly a fantastic adventure film in classic Selleck style.

Michael T (fr) wrote: Incredibly campy (and fun) Roger Corman cult classic.

Randy T (ca) wrote: Singled out to represent the heroic U.S. 8th Air Force, the Memphis Belle and her crew survived 25 bombing missions against the German war machine of WWII. This documentary contains actual combat footage as well as a few staged and reenacted scenes designed to emphasize the importance of these missions and to raise the morale of wartime movie audiences.

Vadim D (de) wrote: The only reason to watch this film these days is for the pure camp value, which is entertaining enough for a viewing.

Brock J (ag) wrote: The viewer is able to grasp onto a completely new idea- that through hard work and determination one can become awesome- and that is an idea that can be taken and used in the viewer's everyday life after watching. Rudy chases a dream that almost seems impossible to any young man that lacks the size, stature and the necessary athletic ability to perform such a task, and eventually leaves the audience with a sense of "anything is possible." This film gives a fantastic example of the "underdog" idea, showing that through heart and determination one can reach the goal once set.

Ashley H (es) wrote: The Company You Keep is a disappointing film. It is about a former Weather Underground activist who goes on the run from a journalist who has discovered his identity. Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Robert Redford also did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

Jon C (es) wrote: this is surely one of the weirdest horror movies I've ever watchedjust watching all of this crazy imagery and tricked-out lighting really plays around with your psychebut Dario Argento is still the man when it comes to classic horrorhe still relies heavily on atmosphere; all the dark shadows, eerie music and gothic-like surroundingsthe plot is just another typical killer-on-the-loose scenarioand a very young Jennifer Connelly as the main lead discovering she has insect telepathy and with the help of Pleasance as an entromologist try to track down the killerthe bad: the music is so out of place particularly when they blast the soundtrack constantly during serious and scary scenes which is uneeded, the editing is all over the place shifting from reality to fantasy and only 3 murders take place totalbut I really love that chimpanzee, he's a lovable ally and Connelly is never boringthere's creepiness, blood and twists and turns at every corner which makes the whole thing unsettling
