Dan H (fr) wrote: While the main characters are jackasses, and I never found it to be super scary this film for the most part works fairly well. Brian Steele does a pretty great job as bigfoot, our main lead progressively starts to become more likable near the end, and the film goes to a surprisingly powerful place at the end. I liked it.

Al M (gb) wrote: Post-apocalyptic sci-fi/action/horror from the folks at Troma studios, The Taint plays out like an idiotic, slapstick version of "The Screwfly Solution." Tainted water has turned men into misogynistic psychopaths who seek only to rape and murder women. Filled with bodily fluids, The Taint is a stupid, offensive, and somewhat cleverly satirical film that mashes genres together into a sickening, hilarious, and insane hybrid that only Troma could have created.

Patrick D (it) wrote: One gets the impression they're only doing it for the money, and that they don't even much like each other. The film certainly gives an impression of how unexciting life on the road in a touring rock band is in reality. And yet, on-stage, they've clearly still got *it*.
