Klaus Muller, a battle-hardened veteran, finds himself fighting for his life on the Russian front. Surrounded by overwhelming numbers of Russian tanks and planes, he and his men are doomed until famed German tank ace, Michael Wittmann, shows up in his Tiger Tank and saves the day. Once wounded, Klaus is transferred to Normandy to serve under Field Marshal Rommel just days before the Allied invasion. Much to his surprise, he finds that his beloved Klaudia is also stationed nearby as a field nurse. Unfortunately, so is her father, who is working with the French resistance and now finds himself pursued by the ruthless Gestapo officer Brahms, whose search leads him to Klaus and Klaudia attempting a rescue. They are caught and imprisoned. As D-Day begins and the Allies attack from the beaches and the sky, they escape from the prison, fighting the Gestapo in the middle of the biggest invasion in world history... A campy stage production like effort to show the dangers of old time values meeting fast lane commercialism. An idea that sparks the essence of Shock Treatment, the movie where you cannot trust the doctor. The plot is not the focus but rather becomes the vocal for bizarre but somehow endeering tunes. If you are expecting another Rocky Horror Show please don't you'll be in for a shock, this movie is to be treated with a different mind set. Trust me I am a reviewer this one is worth a watch.

Antoine R (us) wrote: Probably one of Dupontel's best movie, with "les convoyeurs". It's totally nuts, I dunno what a subtitled or dubbed version in english would be like, but if you do speak french, just get this movie. An abandonned child grows up in an orphanage, and becomes a complete nutcase who goes on a journey to find his parents... and Albert Dupontel (love him, can't help it ^^) plays the part perfectly, with Claude Perron giving a beautiful performance as the drug addicted slag. Just get it, take the broomstick out of your *** for 90 minutes, and enjoy the ride :)

Adam E (de) wrote: ok horror fair with a random ending. the problem with the film is that it tries to be loads of different things all at once, none of which really work. Theres shades of stuck and creepshow 2 in there as well as stuff which would have fitted straight in an 80's slasher flick. The pov strolling camera used to heighten the movie and make it seem some how more realistic goes against it in the end as it becomes meandering. Some nice scenes and shots and an interesting premise for a villain turns a bit panto especially the end which trys to go for a kinda texas chainsaw vibe but just comes of really dumb, implassible and a wee bit daft. Ok suspense flick but its hardly worth sitting through especially as the acting is dire and the lead helms no sympathy at all from the audience!
