I didn't mind it so much until the part where Marion makes up a lie to keep something from happening and then the story really lost me. The dialogue has only few moments of chuckles at the most and a lot just plays the characters as ignorant bafoons. I knew there was a reason I put off watching this movie for so long.

Margot worries about this as they had an intense attraction and knows it could possibly be a threat to her marriage with Lou (Seth Rogen). As the movie progresses she resists passion, but begins to question her place and time in life. Take This Waltz was a morose, and slow take on marriage and relationships. When all the romance is out of life, how does one fight a new a flame. Take This Waltz had good characters, was overall an interesting movie, but just failed to really be a great film due to pacing.

Terror A (ag) wrote: This would have to be the worst Australian film I have ever seen. After making a big splash with the excellent Aussie comedy classic "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" (5/5), director Stephan Elliott's follow-up is a utter mess of film that is a complete embarrassment for everyone involved. The acting and the script were horrible. Definitely skip it for sure!

Eric O (jp) wrote: you knew all along that Tim Robbins was nefarious, but I felt like the movie moved too quickly at parts, leaving you clueless as to his motivations and leaving him to be "evil with no background." still enjoyed it though.

Fran H (mx) wrote: Like so many sequels, this tries to match the original, and doesn't quite do it. But it's still funny and definitely watchable. Unfortunately, with the introduction of the super-UNfunny Fat Bastard character, as well as the childish toilet humor, this sequel dropped a few notches from the original.

Leon B (nl) wrote: Review:This is definitely a case of crazy circumstances, spiralling way out of control! After a group of small time criminals decide to rob Vinnie Jones of his money and his special ring, which was given to him from Tony Montana "Scarface", Vinnie Jones sets of for revenge with his group of ugly looking thugs. The criminals decide to flee to Malaysia with the loot but there aeroplane ports at Lithuania because of a erupted volcano in Iceland. The story then goes from one mad situation to another, after a mad night out in a night club. The acting wasn't that great and the storyline was really far fetched, but it's harmless fun and you really don't know what direction the storyline is going to take. There are some Hangover moments, because no one can remember what they done in the club the night before, and the innocent guy who gets dragged into the whole situation ends up fighting for his life with dirty cops, which was also a weird twist to the storyline. For some unknown reason, I did find the movie entertaining and quite original but you really have to have a warped sense of humour to actually find it funny. In all, it's a watchable movie with some crazy and funny scenes. Watchable!Round-Up:Vinnie Jones is playing his usually cockney thug role in this film, which isn't surprising, but he does stand out from the rest of the actors. All of the other thugs looked pretty convincing, especially when they reach Lithuania, and the fight scenes were put together well. There were some sketchy parts to the script, like when one of the robbers shows a photograph of him having sex with a pig, and the ending was a bit strange but I honestly think that your not supposed to take this movie that seriously. The director did seem to use a lot of pigs throughout the film, which didn't make much sense, and after all of the mad goings on, you don't really get told what happened to all that money. Anyway, it's worth a watch just for its sheer madness.Budget: $2.7millionWorldwide Gross: $1.8millionI recommend this movie to people who are into their crime/comedy movies about a bunch of small time crooks who rob a gangster and try and flee with the money but end up getting tracked down. 4/10
