Upon emerging from her hideout in the Nevada desert, Alice is quickly joined by old friends Carlos and L J. Gaspar O (au) wrote: This is yet another pretty fantastic sports movie, but minus a half star for all the religious crap. Jim Caviezel is great as always, and Michael Chiklis had a nice role, but I still prefer him as a superhero! Very entertaining though, despite the sermons.

Garrett W (es) wrote: A very good movie on it's own but a lot tamer than the original graphic novel and leaving out too many of the really good parts.

Drew K (ag) wrote: Well shit I worked on it, so gotta give it five stars.

Eric J (de) wrote: A good film that suffered from excessive length

Bill v (de) wrote: I would have liked this movie more if there was less to watch. The story is good as it takes a look at Haredi life (howbeit a slice). The pacing was off from the start. Some scenes went on way too long. But I did like how the movie demonstrated tradition was valued more than what Torah says. All I could think of were the words of Jesus as he tells the religious leaders, "Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition." I understood what frustrated him.Very gritty and almost pornographic. I say almost because the dialog provided enough sex talk to substitute for pictures. Skip it if you are squeamish with graphic talk about sex. Also, there's one rape scene. You can learn about Orthodox Jewish living in Israel in better films.

Dan H (kr) wrote: There's nothing like watching some Old Testament style retribution. Oh yes, this flick gets brutal. Deliciously so. The whole film from second one is pretty intense, and the actual story of what's going on is pretty darned cool....That said, I really didn't dig the very end, there are a few weak jump scares here and there, and I wasn't crazy about who the stranger in cell 6 ends up being (Kind of an obvious choice). I have to say I REALLY enjoyed Let Us Prey. It definitely feels like John Carpenter at times, and it's a ton of fun up until the final scene.

Tim R (fr) wrote: Better than Death Proof, Planet Terror is fucking entertaining from start to end and funny with great characters!

Patrick C (ca) wrote: "The Long Good Friday" Has it all:Bombs,Romance,Dry Wit and an Anti-Crime message.Hoskins and Mirren are one of the finest on screen couples in film history. Hoskins makes Harold Shand wants to be a legitimate businessman. You feel a bit empathetic for him
