Return to Me

It took a lot of cajoling to get Bob (Duchovny), a recently widowed architect, to go on a blind date at a quirky Irish-Italian eatery. Once there, he's smitten instantly not with his date but with the sharp-witted waitress, Grace (Driver). Everything seems to be going great until an unbelievable truth is revealed, one that could easily break both of their hearts for good.

Gavin C (it) wrote: Good film, seemed a bit like The Dreamcather .

Nick S (br) wrote: Quite enjoyable for the most part but loses its way towards the end.

Russell H (mx) wrote: kinda corny but funny enough to be entertaining

D A (us) wrote: Very depressing film, but really good.

Smashproplaya (jp) wrote: Even though it's better than the original, it's still a flaming pile of crap!

RJohn X (it) wrote: at some point we will all have to agree that Romero is just a lucky director, not a good one. Sure he knows how to film gore, but as for telling a scary story or setting up the suspense, he fails pretty miserably. As for Argento, the jury is still out. All I have to say is that Harvey Keitel really hated that cat.

Daniel K (au) wrote: A truly beautiful mood piece, which captures a very specific moment in Berlin's history - just before the wall cam down. It wants to say something very profound, but doesn't quite manage it. The dialogue is mostly unnecessary pseudo-philosophical stuff and the characters are very thin. It is a triumph of style over substance, in the true sense - which is to say that the style is so wonderful that it makes it worth watching, in spite of its defects.

Andrew G (jp) wrote: It's a formulaic, cheesy '80s slice-and-dice romp, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thoroughly entertained from beginning to end.

C L (nl) wrote: Already seen it ages ago..But i like it though

Joseph J (ru) wrote: It's kind of amazing how nonsensical a very simple story can be.

Michael S (jp) wrote: This is MST3K-grade awful. The first film was bad, but coherent. This sequel was so ill-conceived only two actors from the first film returned. Every scene has two appropriate responses: unintentional laughter or jaw-dropped amazement at its ineptitude.

Ross M (au) wrote: Amusing, but lacking originality enough to avoid comparisons to Black Sheep. Should satisfy anyone looking for something with little story and loads of gore.

John Eric D (kr) wrote: Serpico is a very well made Sidney Lumet film, which brings the best out of Pacino and Lumet partnership. This one and Dogs Day Out are my favorite Al Pacino film (post Godfather) which you will recognize him as one of the best gems Hollywood can offer. He's really my favorite actor of all time no doubt about it. And Serpico proves he's the one. For a true story this is a very well made film with a very good writing. I felt bad for the guy being surrounded by narco politics, cops and their selfish agendas driven with corruption, it's just disgusting. This guy has a high morale standard for a supposed to be gold plated policeman. And yet all the gambles he does comes out for nothing. Sad story is, we still live by it. Corrupt officials every single day. Great character driven story. I felt bad for the character and I care, which is what I'm looking for a film. A great classic definitely a must have. Al Pacino's performance is outmatch in the 70s.
