(de) wrote: The cinematography alone is worth taking a look at. The acting and production level were all very high as was the concept. The film changes pace and is a unique take on a horror film; not what you would expect from the director of the Saw franchise. It is more of a suspenseful thriller than slasher. I didn't know what to expect when I stumbled upon this screening at the LA Film Fest, but I left actually satisfied which is cool because I don't really like horror movies.

The screenplay is badly written. Greg Marcks did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

However trite it may sound, I don't think any other creator takes up space in my mind to such an extent as Moore. Since I first read Watchmen and ordered V for Vendetta from Forbidden Planet, there has been so much from Moore that has affected both my language (vocabulary, mostly) and my thoughts. I thought the film as such was OK, but just hearing Moore's ideas laid out (even though this documentary mostly focusses on his worldview/philosophy) is well worth the time. Finally I understand what he means by calling himself a magician.

The way he indirectly portrays his growing insanity and anger, building it up to a greater level proportionally in every scene, and then just snapping, is mindblowing. Nobody can possibly be as intimidating as he is with a single stare. Amazing. Songs are great, Salman and Madhuri are awful as always. This obviously belongs to SRK.
