(us) wrote: I liked the cast a lot but this sort of meandering, dispirited teen descending into upset and emptiness has to be really smartly written for it to not seem self-indulgent and whiney. Little Birds occasionally achieved that but most of the time...not so much.
(es) wrote: Good Action. Hardly any plot, all, over the place.
(br) wrote: Ludicrous plot, appalling script and childish acting -- this film is awful in almost every respect and gets worse and worse as it progresses. I find it barely believable that this even got made, let alone released.
(au) wrote: It's amazing how some movies get old so fast. Now that America actually has an ethnic president, this movie is no longer a laughing matter.
(es) wrote: Please God make it stop. This has to be in the Top 5 of the worst comic book movies ever. Nicholas Cage is horrible, the script is terrible, and the action is just boring. Only good thing are the CGI effects for the Ghost Rider. Don't. Just don't watch this. Even if there is the threat of titty twisters... Still not worth it.
(kr) wrote: Though Secretary may have a cliche ending, this BDSM subject is kinky and sexy with likable character and amazing chemistry between James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

(de) wrote: Sure, the acting wasn't award winning but still much better than expected, and the characters are kind of quirky, especially the medium and the guy who gets clobbered in begining. All around kind of creepy....not bad.
(us) wrote: I love the plot story because anything with Black Rebellion is uber awesome (UBER!, my god...) Yes, it is somewhat just another blaxploitation movie, but still, I love the content.Acting is shit but fighting the government makes up for that.
(de) wrote: An intriguing character study and a "art mimicking life" or "life mimicking art" concept.
(jp) wrote: Kooky and crazy fun. This movie bat shit crazy and full of interesting ideas. It makes the mythos of Freddy so much more interesting and scary, while taking the hammier elements of the sequels to their extreme.
(es) wrote: At first I was surprised that this movie had such a low rating but then on skimming the top critics briefly discovered one of the main 'flaws' of the movie is that there is not enough female nudity. haha whoah sometimes chauvinism seems like a parody of itself.... anyway this is a really funny movie but it is possible that it is a film of its time. e.g. the 'emo kid' gets a crush on amanda seyfried's character the day after she has experienced a tragic event and then gets a crush on megan fox's character as soon as she is looking ill and vampiric, having not eaten tortured humans recently. I hadn't expected this film to be so funny so maybe I'm rating it higher than I should but regardless, I rate it highly.
