It had the same feel as a Quentin Tarantino film, only a little bit more ridiculous. That's what had me. The dialogue was what really made the movie, especially the lines that came out of Pinky La'Trimm and Rachel Slurr's mouths. There's a realistic aspect of the gay community that hasn't really been explored on film. I thought that this film almost captured it. It was a lot of fun, but filled with an underlining message. I loved the movie and I can't wait to see the future of the writer/director. If you have a sense of humor, you aren't easily offended, and you're looking for a lot of fun, check this movie out!

I felt the acting was the only weak spot but kinda guessed that it would be since I did not know any of the actors, only can say everyone starts someplace.I was attracted as it's a Dove Awarded film but do not understand the NR rating as the Dove folks rated it for "all ages" making it a G rated film in my mind. Anyway if your looking for a big budget film this is not it but for sure has great family values without being preachy. For me a family friendly film is a winner, but this may explain why very few are made because reviewers would rather have things blowing up, swearing and ever one for themselves... when did good values and life lessons get locked in the closet?

The movie itself is not only hilarious, but I also found it quite thought-provoking for a dark comedy. It's definitely a must watch for Larry David fans. I don't understand why it's rated low.Evan Rachel Wood is absolutely gorgeous in this :)

(es) wrote: It was close to perfect. I haven't met a single person who doesn't know what Finding Nemo is about, so I'm sure you know too. It's Taken for kids. It looks great. I know that Disney made animated sea-life with The Little Mermaid, but this one is 3D animated and they did a good job putting it together. The plot and story was made in a very emotional way. Along with some of the best voice-over performances to be heard, such as Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, and many, many more. This movie is so iconic, it came out in 2003, and it still is popular!Over all, Finding Nemo was a very good movie... Nothing wrong, just nothing else. 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

(de) wrote: Nick Nolte and Martin Short star in the comedy Three Fugitives. Nolte is Lucas, a hardnosed criminal that has been arrested quite a few times for armed robbery. He is recently released from prison and heads to a bank and that bank is robbed by Ned Perry (Short). As the robbery goes south Ned takes Lucas hostage. The lead detective Dugan (James Earl Jones) believes that they can only be in cahoots. Lucas is furious by the incident and has to get his name cleared. Ned begs for his help as he in desperate need of money for himself and his daughter. The two have gone through quite a bit of strife since the passing of the mother. As a result, his daughter has not spoken for two years, and only telling Lucas not to go is all she has said. Lucas finds in his heart to help the two and get them back on their feet. From this point on the film gets a bit goofy and loses some of its cache. Three Fugitives is a pretty interesting and original movie. The events and sequences that occur throughout the film just seem viable enough. Short does a good job keep his humor in check, and is a good character and he has good chemistry with Nolte. The film has some surprisingly endearing moments as the two of them try and care for Ned's daughter Meg. One includes when Martin Short is passing out and holding Meg, and two keep them both safe, Lucas carries both of them. The film definitely has the feel of an 80s comedy, but this is works well for the film. Three Fugitives is good comedy that has a mix of action, sentimentality and humor. -2.19.2017

Ernie Kovacs plays an author who hires Kirk Douglas to build a house for him in the Hollywood Hills. The house construction is shown throughout the movie.Wonderful 1960 clothing, cars, and set design. There is a great cocktail party scene. This movie is not for all tastes, it is like a trashy novel.
(mx) wrote: This film pairs Grant with Jeanne Crain. Yet another 'adult theme' of the time that Grant's trustworthy style or personality he always seems to project makes him perfect for the role. It is probably what he was often chosen for such roles. Anyone elase would have been too innocent or too corrupt to make the story 'acceptable'.
