Jenn C (jp) wrote: To be frank, I don't really have a good impression on this movie after I watched the trailer though it came with good actors such as Lau, Koo and...also the actor I support, Daniel. I watched it after I saw my friend comments on this movie, which he had quite high expectations on each movie he watched. This really surprised me, the simplicity of the script, the actions does it all is the best part of this movie!

Tyler H (it) wrote: If you have read any Japanese comic book that fits in the genre of yaoi then you know how cheesy, unrealistic, and over board they tend to be. Boys Love is like that but with real actors. This film has all of your stereotypical ingredient that would normally make up a "manga" of this genre; high school aged boys that are thin and "straight", long haired dude that is basically a slut, school uniforms, really horrible music, and the awkward virgin sex scenes that are borderline rape scenes. This film has no originality or thought behind it, its like the director put stereotypes in a jar, shook them around, let them fall, and called it a movie. And as if the film was just not bad enough, they add really really sappy, horrid, unrealistic scenes that are more laughable then anything else. Granted, I wasn't expecting much from a Japanese film called Boys Love, but I guess my expectations were just to high for what I got from the film. A complete dud in my book.

Zephora F (mx) wrote: Why this one didn't do well at the box office is beyond me. It was a tender story about a man who loses his very beloved wife in a car accident and her heart was donated to another young woman, whom he cannot stand for some reason (he isn't aware of the fact that she has his deceased wife's heart), but who felll desperately in love with him. Very touching story.

Private U (it) wrote: one of the better ninja films from the eighties. i loved sho kosugi. this film particularly has some great effects more akin to jackie chan, but without the comedy. i'd really like to find this on dvd to watch again, but its been a fruitless search, so far :(

Kenneth E (ag) wrote: Don't watch this. It is possibly the stupidest movie I have ever seen. The end is just a WTF moment. I thought it might be alright seeing that it was a Troma film, but it wasn't it was just crap. Don't bother with this.

Gaspar O (it) wrote: This is perhaps the strangest movie I've ever seen, and quite bad as well. It certainly has some interesting cast members for such a terrible film. Extra half star for the beast thing with the ?nose? that wouldn't stop dripping.
