Ben K (nl) wrote: An eye-opening documentary into the hidden powers that run the United States, "Koch Brothers: Exposed" investigates the corruption behind Charles and David Koch's billion dollar attack on the people of this world and how they try to influence public-policy in America. Holders of oil, gas, paper, forestry and chemical companies, Koch Industries also invests billions of dollars into "think-tanks" that search for ways to manipulate public-policy in order to increase their profit-margin. Such ways include thwarting global warming or pollution policies, funding right-wing politicians into instituting policies that support their agenda's, and forming tea-party groups such as American's for Prosperity across the country in order to manipulate the general public.

Suge Knight could pretty much be compared to a mafia kingpin in the same light as Al Capone with his connections, networking, and interplay with corrupt cops, politicians, and D.A. all working for him; all orchestrating the East Coast vs. West Coast rap battle and demises of two of the biggest monolithic rappers of our time.

When arties partner gets killed in action artie must now take care of his three daughters which artie and his wife have no experience in. and they must make a decision on whats best for the girls because they cant afford them and the orphanage would split them up. And meanwhile also artie still goes out looking for the bad guys. Michael Keaton and Rene russo are the only actors I recognized in this movie. After batman and beetlejuice I have alot of respect for Keaton. To me he is a great actor. He can really get you into the story with his acting. I got this movie at Goodwill for $1. Didn't even see what it was about but seen Keaton on the front and already had it in mind that I was going to buy it. I knew with him in it that it would be good and it was. Rene russo played his wife and was very good here too. Two thumbs up for this movie! Its an emotionally well acted movie with good action too.

Bill T (it) wrote: The Black Swan, you know, the 1942 version, right? is a bit of a slow Pirate movie that manages to finally going plot wise about 1/2 way through the movie. While you're waiting for that, you can marvel at the awesome 3 strip technicolor thing going on, and as well, feast on the ravishing Maureen O'Hara. Tyrone Power is in full pirate mode here, nothing really out of the ordinary that hasn't been done by other actors, Laird Cregar actually steals the show with his portrayal of Captain Morgan.. Yes, THAT Captain Morgan, before he was pasted on whiskey. So there's lots going for it, except maybe the story, which could have used some work.

William W (jp) wrote: I really enjoyed this film that really put Edward G. Robinson and gangster films in general on the map for good. Rico may be small in stature but big both in heart and ambition, and he zooms to the top of the underworld in no time, with one mountain to fall in due time. Mother of mercy, is this the end of Rico? It may have been on the studio lot, but a huge career to come was in store for the talented Robinson, and gangster films are still much beloved today, so you be the judge.
