Rudi C (au) wrote: This movie made folding laundry fun. [Not intended as a compliment] There's an interesting scene towards the beginning and there's one at the end, but the rest of it was like eating dry sand. That being said, it would be a good movie to trick someone with: Pretend it was terribly funny and at the same time utterly thought provoking. Recommended it to your friends, family and insist that they watch it in its entirety. Then, grab a bowl of popcorn, sit down and enjoy an hour and forty minutes worth of eye rolling and fidgeting as you watch them experience the feeling of hopeless and helpless agony that this movie undoubtedly delivers in large, cafeteria grade servings.

Randall S (nl) wrote: Poorly written. Poorly executed. Went no where pretty much through the whole movie. Then at the end, it ended with nothing of value. Kind of like eating tofu. This movie was so boring I actually almost fell asleep in it.
Kyle B (kr) wrote: A really unique movie with great performances from Renee Zellweger, David Hyde Pierce, and mostly Sarah Paulson. I actually wished David and Sarah's plot was the main plot and Renee and Ewan were the supporting characters. Ewan is good on his own but his scenes with Renee don't pop like the rest of the movie. It has incredible production design, art direction, costumes, hair and make up, score, and songs sharing a lot of the same tempo as 2007's Hairspray (the composer of this movie wrote the songs for Hairspray so the music definitely stands out). Interesting to see Peyton Reed direct this now with Antman out seeing his brand of humor. Definitely a lot of fun
Zelyaine T (br) wrote: Nice film aesthetically - soundtrack is pretty good and footage is fantastic. But the film completely missed out on an opportunity to educate about the fascinating lives and behaviors of the dozens of bird species that they filmed. I can understand if the purpose was to make an aesthetic film as opposed to a documentary, but in that case, why bother putting in the tiny and virtually pointless bits of narration at all?
John B (us) wrote: Winged Migration works because words are kept out of it. Rather than having a mind numbing narration that doesn't really add to the drama, we just have the biirds..and all kinds of them attempting that they had done oodles of time previously in cross crossing the planet as a matter of survival.
Noah Abraham G (kr) wrote: A film with an intriguing premise let down by lousy execution and a hackneyed plot. Also contains one of the most blatant examples of having a token black character I've ever seen.
Preme L (jp) wrote: Simplicity in a movie is probably the best formula. All the dialogue in soaps is what keeps me away-i like my space, every aspect, even in my movies. The message? Am i my brother's keeper, yes.
Tasha W (jp) wrote: the story of Dorothy Stratten, a young girl who becomes a playboy playmate with help from her husband, whom she soon realizes is not the man she thought he was. Very obsessive, needy and jealous. She tries to stray away from him, with no such luck, she meets a tragic ending....very sad, true story
