(ag) wrote: It's pretty horrible for a comedy because it's not funny at all. But I was surprised at how honest the movie was at describing a mother-son relationship/parent-child relationship. This movie has its moments and character developments. So overall, not too terrible.

(br) wrote: Now my rating says 3 and a half stars, but this would have easily been a 4 for me, if the full uncut death scenes were in the actual film. You can see all the uncut death scenes in the special features of the dvd, which the gore is absoultely fantastic, so if watch the film, definitley check out those scenes, there freakin great!! I also loved the make up effects on the inbred cannibals, they looked totally awesome. From what I've heard, the director had a hell of a time making this movie too, between getting some of the gore cut, and the people involved with the film re-editing it, and also going back and shooting a whole new ending with a diffrent director, but I still really, really liked this a lot. I love backwoods horror so much!! 3.5/5 for the film on the dvd, but a 4/5 with the uncut gore.

(mx) wrote: I threw this tape in thinking it was a 70's horror film due to the title. To my disappointment, it was a British film about a dating couple, the guy who also carries on a gay relationship with a doctor, and the girl who has her own relationship on the side. Never became attached to any of the characters in 110 minutes that felt too long. The male gay scenes may have been shocking for the times not to mention the babysitters allowing young children smoke pot.
