ade: B+. It's one of those stories where sci-fi mixes with family drama and Ron Howard directs a charming tale that has a fantastic cast of veterans. A sweet story about a group of elderly people who literally find new life when an alien life form comes to Earth

Diane Kruger played Marie-Antoinette beautifully but I felt she was a bit too old, but other than that, the film was masterfully crafted and cinematically full talent. The only small detail I found somewhat off-putting was both the ages of the king and queen. The cast portrayed each character with dignity and elegance. This film is one of the best interpretations of Marie-Antoinette and the French Revolution ever conceived, in my opinion

Good fun, with a bit of romance thrown in too. So good she is totally uncognisable as the blonde Italian-American bimbo Tina. Equally brilliant is Mia Farrow. A pity not more time was devoted to his interactions with clients and his sales pitches to promoters, as these scenes were hilarious. Incredibly funny. His over-the-top salesman-like shtick is wonderful to behold. Great performance by Woody Allen as Danny Rose. A pretty good adventure too, though it does get a bit silly at times. Some great scenes (the shootout among the gas-filled balloons is priceless) and one-liners. A wonderfully exuberant and funny comedy from Woody Allen. Adventures and hilarity ensue. This results in Danny and Tina being hunted by the mob. However, Tina is also seeing a mob boss and when Danny is seen with her, the mob boss assumes Tina is two-timing him with Danny. Danny naturally obliges. One of his clients, Lou Canova (Nick Apollo Forte) - a washed up crooner from the 50s who is undergoing a resurgence, asks Danny to accompany his mistress, Tina (Mia Farrow), to one of his concerts - her presence helps him perform. He has a wide and often odd assortment of clients but will do anything for them. Danny Rose (played by Woody Allen) is a theatrical agent

(. I think I only admired her predictable independence but even my admiration for that was very predictable. I never really understood what it was that made this gal so wise

Interesting though. It was kind of funny though, except Crispin Glover was overly good so he creeped me out more than entertained me because I kept thinking he'd leapt into his Charlie's Angels bad-creepy-guy shtick. I love how we just rented it and watched it without knowing at all what it was about
