Ernie T (fr) wrote: Humorous, interesting yet balanced documentary about profanity through the ages by looking at and examining the mother of all swear words and its use today. Journalists, comedians, actors, porn stars, politicians and regular folk share their views on profanity in society.

Jonathan M (fr) wrote: best book ever + bad acting + unfocused direction = this movie

Edgar C (gb) wrote: Since the very beginning, the movie says to us with open arms: "Welcome back". And so we are back to the world that the first part of this wonderful epic made us think we had already abandoned forever. A "Bressonic" touch is invading the inner conflicts of the village and Manon is a rare flower blossoming in an environment she was meant to merge in. Magnificently, the circle of events is closed as a Greek tragedy, and wonderful scenes decorate the powerful revelations given in the last 20 minutes. 97/100

Michael F (it) wrote: A very well acted and shot film, but leaves out some very important details that would better illustrate the fundemental growth/lack there of, of both main characters.

Anna B (ag) wrote: Maybe you have to be a big horror buff for this to work properly, but I didn't really see what was so clever about it. The puberty analogies are underlined and circled and highlighted to the point of distraction, and Fawcett's slackly-paced direction doesn't enliven proceedings much until the third act, which manages to be tense in spite of the terrible effects, and for which I bumped up my score a bit. Isabelle's pretty good, but Perkins is just terrible.

Conor O (fr) wrote: A sincere, heartfelt, moving, tragic yet also humerous love letter to a city with a complex history, told through visually striking images, painful poetry and a heavy dose of impressionism. While Cousins does focus on the troubled past of this city and goes into detail on just how ugly Belfast was at certain times, he keeps being optimistic about it's future and also shows us how beautiful it can be and just how much he loves this city.I was caught in between awe, laughter and tears. Anyone who is into portrails caught on film will love it.
